A couple hours later, I lounge on the bed while Trey went back to work. He was very reluctant to do so, but seeing as I was only a few feet away he was placated and promised to be back right away. That was an hour ago and I knew he really must had things he needed to tend to. The house alarm went off on my phone, also on Trey's I realized since he had left his phone in the room. The house surveillance was connected to our phones and I had only recently realized Trey had put me on the notification list when it unexpectedly rang in class. The said person was by the gate, and seeing as Trey was busy, I turned the intercom on.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hi, can I please get in. I'm here to talk to Trey," a woman asked.

I was immediately on guard and got up approaching Trey's office.

"Can I ask who this is?" I said while I neared his door.

"He knows me. I should be the one asking who you are," she replied with an attitude. By this time I had reached Trey's office and just walked in. He looked as though he was reading emails and I had muted the intercom so I could speak with Trey privately.

"Someone's at the gates demanding entrance," I inform him as I take a seat across from him and throw him my phone. He unmutes it.

"Who's this?" he asks in his no nonsense voice.

"Trey! I'm so glad to speak with you. Your housekeeper wouldn't let me in," she stated. I couldn't help my face from forming into a scowl.

"You'd do well to watch the way you speak about my mate Alena," he says menacingly.

"Mate?! I thought we were going to be together! Let me in right this instant!" she screeches.

At this point I had had enough of her and I reached across and took my phone back from Trey's hand.

"Listen here. I'm not the house keeper and you cannot enter our home now or ever. Forget you even know where Trey lives. I can tell you're a very entitled girl, but you don't want to try me." With that I huff and hang up on the call. I'm still fuming when I look up and see Trey's luminous eyes staring at me with a possessive glint in them.

"I'm sorry about that mate. I'll ensure it never happens again," he growls. His voice is gruffer and deeper and I know it's his wolf come to the surface.

"It's alright. I know it wasn't your fault," I reply dejectedly and get up from the chair and make a move to leave. Before I know it he's right behind me, his arms caging me from behind.

"Don't go love," he rumbles.

"I didn't like that Trey. I know you didn't know, but I don't like the idea of sharing you with someone else either," I confess as I turn to face him.

His eyes are still glowing and he was a frown on his face.

"I'll make sure she never does that again. Or anyone else for that matter." He then lifts me up and goes back to his chair, settling me on his lap while he goes through emails and calls. We spend the rest of the day like that just enjoying each other's company. Somehow I drift off to sleep and I'm wakened by soft kisses all over my face.

"Wake up sleepy head," he murmurs as he captures my lip and gives me a languid kiss.

"Hmmm, I'm comfy baby," I murmur as I wrap my arms around his neck and shift so I'm straddling him. It's then I notice that we aren't in the office but on the couch in the bedroom's lounge.

"I know, but the guys are coming over," he tells me as he massages my back as I snuggle back into him.

"How long have I been out?" I ask and moan when he cups my ass and massages it.

"Just over an hour. You looked too peaceful so I didn't want to wake you." With that he wraps his free hand around my ponytail and grip it, pulling my head back so we're face to face.

"Hi," I breathe as I see his eyes surveying me lazily.

"Hey," he returns and captures my mouth.

"I love you," I tell him and creep my fingers up his neck and into his hair.

"I will always love you unconditionally," he murmurs and kisses the tip of my nose.

"When are the guys getting here? Should I make something?" I ask as I'm now fully awake.

"If you'd like, but if you aren't up to it we can do take out," he suggests.

"How about we do something quick on the grill and you can order pizza and wings so there'll be a lot of options?"

"Sounds like a great idea," he agrees and gets up with me still in his arms.

AN: So I've opened my old drafts and I'm thinking of getting a few of my other stories on here. I don't know when because they need editing, but it'll have a few chapter's worth already written.

By the way, a huge thank you to all the readers! I hope you guys enjoy the story so far.
