"She has a fear of crowds," I hear Gavin say.
"You should have told her earlier. I told you to," Susannah voiced.
"You're going to be in the dog house," I hear Trey's dad say.
I stir and open my eye, blinking back due to the bright light.
"She's awake! I'm taking her to our room. Everyone back up," Trey growls.
I groan when he lifts me from what feels like a bed.
"What happened?" I ask as I feel us get in the elevator.
"You passed out," he says and I remember what he said that caused me to pass out. I hit his chest and glare at him.
"You should have told me!"
He has the audacity to look sheepish.
"I see that now. I'm sorry love," he murmurs and gives my temple a kiss.
"I don't have to talk right?" I ask him as he settles me on our bed.
"No, baby, not unless you want to. I'll do it all for us. Now, rest up and I'll send you down with the women to get ready in a few hours."
"Are you staying up here with me?" I ask him with a pout.
"For a while then I need to go see to some things."
"Fine," I acquiesce. He gets in beside me in bed and pulls me to him.
"What was your mom talking about?" I ask him.
"She thinks I'm going to impregnate you during the next full moon," he tells me.
"Are you?" I ask as I sit up and stare down at him.
"What do you think?" he asks with a pointed stare.
"I don't know," I reply honestly.
"Next full moon is in three weeks."
"Oh. Is anything going to happen to me?" I ask him.
"You'll go into heat," he says.
"Woah. I'll have to ask Grams about that," I reply.
"That would probably be best. Although maybe you should ask Mom. Grams is a bit too wild. I don't know how Gramps put up with her," he says fondly.
"The same way you put up with me," I remind him. He gives me a big smile, showing his dimples and kisses me. I hear his phone ding and he looks at it.
"Time for you to get ready. I thought we'd have more time but they're ready for you now," he announces and gets up with me in his arms.
"I don't wanna," I grumble.
"Be good. Everyone's excited to meet you," he tells me.
"Okay," I whisper.
He walks me to the room where everyone was getting ready and I was so glad to finally see everyone.
"Hey guys," I greet as I walk in.
"Alright, I'll see you later," Trey whispers into my ear then he yells out to everyone in the room, "Take care of my woman!"
With that he stormed out the room and I had to giggle at his antics.
"Yup. He's worst that all of them combined," Nana Jean said sounding pleased.
We spent almost 3 hours getting ready and by the time we were finished, I was more than ready to sleep and just skip the whole event.
"Okay Jayde, it's tradition I pick out your ceremonial dress so I hope you like it," Susannah said behind me. I turn and gasp when I see the gown.
