It was dark when I saw on the navigational screen that we'd arrived in Scotland. Just being here made me feel different. Almost as if my bond to Trey was closer and more intense. How? I didn't know since I didn't think that could have been possible.

"We're landing," was Trey's short announcement. His voice even sounded different. Deeper and more gravely. It was hot. I was getting hot just thinking about seeing him. It'd been a long 10 hour flight and I missed him. I wanted to go to him, but I knew he was conducting business with the men and piloting the plane. Instead of being a hindrance, I just sat and distracted myself. But I yearned for him. Not long after his announcement we landed. I sat back and let everyone get off waiting for my mate. With each passing second, it was feeling like it was so much longer than it actually was. I was also getting more anxious for him. Finally, I looked up from my phone to see him standing there. For a while he and I just stood there staring at each other. The tension was clear. The heat, beyond anything I'd imagined from us. He started walking to me and I finally made my feet move. When he stopped right in front of me I swear I could feel myself breathe easier than I did the entire fight without even knowing it. He cups my face and caresses it.

"I missed you," I tell him, letting all my vulnerability show.

"I need you home now. The staff is expecting us," he says as way of explaining why he was rushing us off the plane. He has my hand tightly grasped in his and when we come out he wraps a possessive arm around me. I see a line of men waiting at the end of the stairs when we deplane. They all bow when we pass and I look up at Trey, seeing him for all that he was. A powerful King of a powerful group of people. He keeps his gaze ahead, but squeezes my hand.

"Welcome back your Highnesses," a man greets us. Trey nods and I just smile at him.

"Good evening Charles. I trust that everything is going as planned?" he asks in a stern tone.

"Yes my King, everything is on track."

With another nod Trey pulls me to a Cadillac Escalade. He opens the door for me and settles me in before rounding the car to the other side.

I stare out the window as we start moving, watching the town pass. I turn to see what Trey is doing, but I'm surprised to see him just staring at me.

"What?" I whisper. Instead of answering, he tilts my head to the side and seals his mouth over mine.

"I love you," he gets out.

"I love you too."

We keep driving for another 30 minutes when I see faint light ahead. With every mile we get closer, the more I realize that the lights aren't small and neither is the castle that is looming ahead.

"You have a castle?" I ask in awe. I hear him chuckle and he rests our hands on his thigh.

"We have a castle, baby. A king needs a castle," he states with a wink.

"You're a king. Like really a king," I mutter and he chuckles as it dawns on me that he really does rule over a great deal of people. We stop in front of the large castle and I'm blown away with how large it really is.

"Your Grace, welcome back. Your wing is ready for you just as you requested it," a man greets us as we step out of the car. I'm still looking around when he starts talking again.

"My Queen, it's such a pleasure to meet you. I'm Henrique, the main butler of the house. Should you need anything changed to your liking, please do not hesitate to make it known," he finishes. I look at Trey with wide eyes and look back at Henrique.
