CHRIS'S POV
I step out of the taxi, and look at our hotel. For starters, it's huge, and looks so elegant. two Christmas trees stood on either side of the door, flashing lights and red ornaments hanging off of it. It was a lot colder here in New York, so I guess I have to go shopping.
We walk into the hotel lobby, where a wreath hangs above the door, and a giant Christmas tree in the middle, almost touching the high ceiling. Their were couches, chairs, and ottomans surrounding it, with tables here and there. We got our room key, and took the elevator up to our floor, 7. We went down the hall, and found our room. It was enormous.
When you walk in the double doors, to the right is a counter, with 5 barstools. Behind the counter is a microwave, and refrigerator loaded with snacks, and in that corner, is a little table set with chairs. To the left is a brown leather couch with a flat screen TV hanging off the wall. A coffee table rests in the middle, with a bunch of menus and probably the channel guide. Next to the tv are two doors, and in each on are two queen size beds with a bedside table in the middle, a bureau, a TV, and a bathroom. Lola and I took a room, and Hayes, Cameron and nash took the other.
It was only about 10, but I was still hungry.
"Chris, wanna go to to Starbucks? It's right across the street" Hayes suggests and I nod.
I slip on a jacket over my sweatshirt, and take my phone and some money. We head out of the room, and outside to the bitter cold New York streets.
The Starbucks is right across the street, but it was freezing out here. We run to the Starbucks, and get inside, where it is a lot warmer. We order, and I decide on a hot chocolate, to warm up my numb hands. We found a table by the window and sat down, talking, eating, and drinking cups of warm hot chocolate.
After a few hours, we decided to head back to the room. Lola and nash were there, alone. Surprised the whole place didn't burn down. We see them on the couch, watching TV.
"Lola?" I ask and she looks at me with wide eyes.
Her and nash scramble off the couch, and into their separate rooms. That was weird. I go into my room, and grab my gloves, before meeting Hayes by the kitchen. We head out and start to walk down the block. It was actually pretty fun, just walking and talking, no cares of what's happening around us. Just us.
"So I am taking you out tonight, we're leaving at 6" Hayes states. I smile at him. That's so cute.
"Where are we going?" I ask curiously.
"Won't find out till you get there" he winks, and I sigh. I hate surprises.
"Well, how do I know how to dress then?" I ask smirking, maybe now getting an answer out of him.
"Dress...like formal but not to to formal" he explains. I nod and we continue to walk down the sidewalk.
We stopped at one of those street tables, where they sell those hats with the built in gloves. We ended up trying like all of them on, and taking a lot of pictures. By the time we were finished, it was already 4, so Hayes suggested we head back to the hotel room.
At the hotel room, I skip into the shower and turn on the hot water. When I'm finished, I go out to my suitcase and pick out my maroon skirt, black/sheer high socks that go just above my knees, and a white sweater which is a little cropped. I change into them, and then move onto makeup. I add mascara, then add eyeliner to my eyelid, but I don't wing it out or anything, just a simple line. I straighten my hair, and spray perfume before going out of he the room to see Hayes waiting, dressed just as nice as me.
