HAYES POV

I dive into the water, and grab Chris from Steph and Becky. I roll her out of the pool, and lay her down. She's unconscious, and she has a big scratch on her head. Then I remember. nash taught me CPR when we were at the public pool. I held her nose, and put my lips on hers, blowing air. I do the same process again, a few times actually. After a few times of this process, her eyes open, and she starts to cough up water. "Chris?" I ask and she sits up.

"Oh my god" she mutters to herself, before flinging her arms around me. "Thank you so much Hayes" she whispers in my ear, so only I could hear. Everyone clears out, and does what they we're going before, just talking and playing basketball, and eating, and talking.

"How did you hit your head?" I asked her. She was looking around.

"S-Someone pushed me" she said looking around. I immediately knew who it was. Christina. I cannot believe her.

"I'll be right back" I say quietly, about to run off and tell Christina off. How could she do this? She could've really hurt Chris.

"No, Hayes. Stay here, with me" she said, grabbing my wrist. I turned back at her, and it looked like she actually wanted me to stay, not because she didn't want me to kick out Christina and create more drama.

I think I do like Chris. When I kissed her, I could tell it wasn't Christina. It doesn't feel like kissing Christina. I feel this weird spark when I kissed Chris. I like her, and I'm not afraid to tell her. But I do want to tell her, only when I'm 100% sure she likes me back. Other wise our friendship will be super awkward and it could be ruined. I think I've like Chris for a long time, but a part of me likes Christina. The best thing to do is to be with Christina, because it won't ruin anything. I hope.

After the party, I brought Chris to CVS to get something for her head. She and I both bought a but load of candy, because that's what we always do. "So I'm thinking tonight we watch a bunch of movies on Netflix" I suggest, looking at her who is already starting to eat the jolly rancher chews.

"Or we could watch gossip girl..." She trails off, popping a blue raspberry flavored chew in her mouth.

"Do we have to?" I whine, sticking out my bottom lip.

"You always chose!" She fights back, smiling, and popping more of them in her mouth. Which is true. I always bribe her into watching the movies I want.

"Okay first of all, don't eat all those we need to save them. Second of all I do always choose so your right" I say chucking, and she giggles along with me.

"Told ya" she says punching my shoulder. So now everything's back to normal. Now it seems like the kiss didn't even happen.

"Okay fine I'll watch only.....5 episodes with you" I say giving in. She giggles, and squeals, clapping her hands together.

"Yay! Thank you!" She says wrapping her arms around me for a quick hug. I felt something else that I didn't feel with Christina. I really really need to get Christina back, only because I won't have feelings for Chris. Our friendship is more too important to loose or risk ruining.

We arrive back at my house, and she dumps the candy into her lap. She grabs the remote and gets onto Netflix. She finds gossip girl, and goes to season 3. Well now I don't know what's going to happen. Whatever.

I sit down next to her, and open the bag if sweetish fish. She pressed play and I tried so hard to know whats happening. After a few minutes into the first episode, I was already having questions. "So the kid who is dating the Brooklyn boys best friend is his dad and soon to be step-moms son?" I ask looking at her.

"Vanessa is dating Scott and Vanessa is best friends with dan and dans step brother is Scott who is the son of his dad and soon to be step mother" she says. Well I kind of got it.

"And dans the looser right?" I asked her, and she nods and laughs. I love her laugh. It's so cute. Before I realize it, I'm staring at her. Right at the side of her face. Then she turns to me, leaving our faces inches apart. "Why are you staring at me?" She asked smiling. I looked at the TV, then back at her.

"I-" I started to say, but my phone rang. I groaned and rolled my eyes, looking at the caller ID. Christina."I'll uh be right back" I say quietly and leaving the room. I slide the answer thing, and put the phone up to my ear.

"What do you want, Christina?" I ask angrily into the phone.

"Hayes I'm so sorry. I'm sorry for interfering with your friendship with Chris, and calling her a slut, and pushing her into the pool. Hayes please, if you'd just give me another chance" she cried into the phone. Okay, I do like Christina. But I think I like Chris too.

"I don't know" I say nervously. I don't want Chris to get hurt. She comes before anyone.

"Meet me at Starbucks tomorrow at 9?" She asks into the phone. I sigh, and agree with her. Maybe she does deserve another chance. Everyone does.

"Okay fine" I say hanging up the phone. I slide it back into my pocket. I turn around to see Chris standing in the entrance of the kitchen. "So you and Christina?" She asks looking down, and playing with her hands.

"Look Chris -" I started to say but she cut me off.

"Forget it Hayes. Just have fun with her" she said quietly, before leaving and going up the stairs. Oh no. Now she's mad. Now I'm back where I was. Chris hating me and Christina together. And now she's mad.

That's the last thing I want.
