Appearance: Large dark eyes have a gentle expression, nose is black with large nostrils, lond and lean paws are lighter than a Greyhounds, hocks are close to ground but not abruptly bent, fine, smooth hair does not retain heat.
Not for urban living, thrives in warm weather, needs exercise, good watchdog.
History: The Sloughi probably accompained the nomadic Arab tribes thay invaded northwest Africa over 1,000 years ago. It may come from the Yemeni town of Soloug.
