Alex Parker had to thread lightly. To ensure that she didn't lead Declan on. She didn't change into something else, even though when they met up, he clearly had put some thought on looking extra nice for her.

The only thing she'd changed about her clothes was Daniel's scarf around her neck.

It made her smell like him.

The "date" started off with compliments and questions about school. She managed to sneak a bug on his phone, and she excused herself to get some more candy from the conssession stand, she put a couple more inside his car.

On his glove box, she found a couple of condoms.

She nodded his forth-thinking, smart thinking, audacity, and confidence. A little too much...but she let it slide. He was thinking about safety after all.

The movie was a rom-com.

He asked her if she was hungry, and wanted to drive in his car to a little Italian place by hi mother's hotel.

"Yeah, I know it! They have the best italian sodas ever. My dad took me there the other day." Lies, lies, lies...

"Oh, awesome. Did you eat already? Because I'm a little hungry." He seductivaley flexed his muscles, exposing the bare skin of his sromach. It was a nice sight, if Alex was being honest.

He was adorably cute, trying to maybe seduce her. She knew he'd be okay if she turned him down.

He was more than happy with the extended hug he got out of her that night.

The next day, he greeted her with a hug, when a little group of kids gathered at the Alpha’s house for some self defence basic training. He only half noticed that Alex was wearing one of her dad's work out shirts.

During the exercises,  she managed not to roll her eyes at the moves Lucian was teaching everyone.  Nevertheless, she paid close attention.

When they were done with basic self-defense training Mrs. Emerson passed by, dressed to the nines in a really well cut business suit. She was wearing the scarf that Alex had gifted her. "Hello, I was passing by, and wanted to make sure you guys had everything you needed. I had the cook make you all some snacks." She smiled at everyone and gave Alex a wink before leaving.

"Okay kids, I am going to have some of the trackers of the pack come and test you. Make me look good..." Lician said coming up behind  her, inhaling deeply. He smiled a smile that hinted he knew something no one else knew.

Just then a couple of trackers came up to the backyard where they were all practicing. They looked a little bit intimidating.

"Alright, form a line, first up, Maddie. Mr.Edwards here is going to attack you. Just remember the moves we just went through. Don't be afraid of hitting too hard, they’ll be fine." Lucian joked. 

The girl named Maddie did pretty good, and actually put some good punches that could incapacitate a regular assailant long enough for her to get away...same with the rest of the girls. Mercy tried her best, but in the end she didnt last more than a few seconds. The boys tried to show up as much as they could. Declan was up before her, just as Finn Emerson was getting in on the action.

"So, how badly are you going to fail when you go up against me? " Lucian whispered just behind her.

She fumed.  "You know I could kill you in your sleep? By the way, could you tell your friend to up the security due Northeast. I could have a party there, next to the river, and no one would notice. It's almost a compleate blind spot. A post needs to move closer to there. Also, one of the guards is having an affair with some girl named...Carly. She wants to call it quits before Nicky finds out she's not so pure..." She tried to keep the snort in.
