° Why you sad? I don't know, I don't know why...°

"Whoop, whoop we made it!" Jungkook cheered, as he put me on the ground.

"How long did it take?" I said glancing at my watch, noticing it took us exactly 6 minutes, "6 minutes it is. Once again you've set a record Jungoo."

"I'm your anpanman~" Jungkook nudged my sides with a smug grin.

"Yes, yes, thank you, my savior." I placed my hands against each other and bowed at him. Jungkook knew how much I treasured my perfect attendance, and although he cared less about it than about a speck of dust on his laptop, he still made sure my attendance stayed on top. "I probably owe you lunch now, don't I?"

We walked through the entrance and quickly headed to our lockers. The class was almost starting, but we still needed to switch out some books for certain subjects.

"Yes, you do! And you know what that means right?" Jungkooks eyes started twinkling as he looked very excited. "Getting a special lift from me has its own special price."

"I've to get you, your favorite steak meal set! Which is surprisingly on the menu today," I stated with a deep sigh, "The one that costs $15."

"It's my lucky day it seems." Jungkook hummed a pleasant melody, his voice had always sounded angelic in my ears, but he had never believed me. Maybe because he was too embarrassed and shy to admit it or he pretended to be like that. It could go either way with him, especially if I was the one to compliment him.

"What class do you have first?" I asked, as I took out my chemistry books, and shoved them into my bag.

"I have English," Jungkook answered, as he looked my way. From the way his gaze shifted a split second later to something behind me, I could tell I would lose him and his attention within a minute.

At the exact time as that thought passed my mind, Jungkook hurried to pull out everything he needed from his locker and rushed to close it.

I knew that look, it was one I had seen frequently. One I hated and dreaded. One I see every day and one I would have to put up with for quite a while if everything went well for Jungkook.

"I'll catch up to you during lunch!" Jungkook said, slamming the door of his locker shut with quite a bit of -unneeded, force.

"Where should I wait for you?!" I asked him, as he ran past me.

"Just grab a table, I'll find you," Jungkook yelled looking back, before rushing to the only person he wanted to see as soon as possible every day.

"I'll buy you thousands of meal sets if that means I can cure you of this torture." I thought as I saw Jungkook tap the girl's shoulder before they greeted each other enthusiastically.

"Hey, Mimosa!" Someone suddenly tapped my shoulder, making me jump up slightly surprised.

"Why are you zoning out here?" Yeonji - my chemistry classmate and other best friend, looked at me with curiosity.

"Ooh...it's nothing...just lost in thoughts." I quickly thought up an excuse, Jungkooks illness and his one-sided love was a secret between him and me. I would never spoil that, it was the only thing special between us and I knew how much the secret meant to Jungkook. I would immediately lose his trust if I were to ever spoil it.

"Oh well," Yeonji shrugged not sensing anything wrong at all, "It happens to all of us. Have you finished your chemistry homework?"

"Yeah, I had to push through, but I did it." I made a peace sign with my fingers, proud of my achievement. As my hate for chemistry was on par with the hate Squidward carried for Spongebob and Patrick.

"I swear, chem and I don't work together." Yeonji had despair written over her face, as she let out a dramatic sigh, "I worked half of the night on it but I barely managed to finish it."

"That is because," I looked at her with my arms crossed in front of my chest, "You take like a million naps during the day."

"Naps before homework." Yeonji chuckled, not able to deny my statement, as we walked into our classroom.

We walked to our usual seats, and Yeonji let out a relieved as she saw that those seats were still open.

"If someone else had taken these seats, I would've murdered them," Yeonji mumbled, plopping down on her chair.

At the begin of our second year, we had chosen to take these two seats next to the window, and as we continued to sit here every lesson, Yeonji baptized these seats as ours. It had become a pet peeve for her to not sit there, during chemistry.

At those special occasions where we couldn't sit there, she would dramatically complain about how she could not concentrate on the lesson due to uncomfortable lightning or the wind blowing too hard at a different seat.

"Wow, would you look at that." I whispered in Yeonji's ear - faking amazement, as our teacher shuffled into the classroom, "Mr. Song is on time for once."

"We should applause him for that." Yeonji grinned, before holding her hands up and tapping her two index fingers together.

"Let him live Ji." I chuckled opening my homework - the only thing our teacher would give us on time, "He's getting old."

Yeonji only laughed at that statement, before Mr. Song cleared his throat to grab everyone's attention and the murmuring in class died down...
