¤ I used to think that I would wait for you because I honestly didn't want anyone else but now... ¤

"Jungkook?" Shocked I turned around not sure who to focus on currently, but I was too late in reacting as Jimin had already reached us.

"Hey m-," Jimin started but then he glanced behind me, and his expression turned serious. "Let's get him to a secluded area."

"H-huh?" His words didn't fully process in my brain, and I watched with surprise as Jimin wrapped his arm around the coughing Jungkooks shoulder and guided him along.

When Jimin noticed that I wasn't tagging along he turned around and stated slightly impatient, "Mimosa, we can't have him coughing up petals in the middle of the street. Let's go!"

"Y-yeah right, sorry coming." I shook my head as if pulling myself out of a trance and hurried after them.

Jimin carefully pulled Jungkook along to an ally, shaded away from the bigger and busier main street leading to the school.

"How long have you known about his disease?" I carefully asked Jimin as we helped Jungkook sit down against the wall.

"Since the beginning," Jimin stated as he kept on patting Jungkooks back but he sounded quite stern.

Which I might've misunderstood too because I was too shocked to react or process anything actively at the moment.

"Mimi, stay by his side, I'll be back in a second." Jimin jumped up and walked a bit away from us to the main street.

I squatted down in front of Jungkook, and he automatically grabbed my hand and started squeezing it every time a cough came out.

"It's okay Jungkook, you're doing great." I kept on repeating in a reassuring voice, and I noticed that the heaving of his shoulders becoming gradually slower. "Just focus on my voice."

This continued for a while until the murmuring of voices at the beginning of the street caught my ears, and I looked up surprised to see all of the guys and Hyeri appear.

"You're shitting me." I immediately thought beyond myself, and I noticed how my grip on Jungkooks hand stiffened.

"Jungkook, do al the others know too?" I hissed at him in panick but as soon as he glanced up at me with an appolegetic look, I knew I didn't need to worry about them seeying him like this.

I think he clearly could guess from my expression that it finally dawned upon me, and just as Hyeri ran towards us, my hand slipped out of his and I quickly stood up.

Jungkooks gaze was begging me to stay but I avoided his gaze and looked at Hyeri, "I'll be right back, gotta inform Yeonji that I'll be late."

"Mimosa that can wait right?" Jin asked with a nervous chuckle, and although he probably didn't intend it, his tone was sharp. "You're by far the person that knows the most about how to help him."

"I don't think so," I gave him a small smile which definitely was not sincere. "That's quite the image we give of but, I've realized that I actually know nothing at all."

Without waiting for further comments, I walked a bit away from them and quickly made a call to Yeonji who picked up within 2 rings.

"Yo, what's up? You never call me." She sounded slightly worried but, she also tried to play it off as a joke, because she didn't know the situation yet.

"I'm actually having a little issue right now, so I'll be late to class." My voice sounded strange - even to me, and obviously, she immediately caught on to it.
