Act IV: Long Live The Supreme Leader

INT. KYLO'S TIE-SILENCER – NIGHT/OUTER SPACE

Safely on its heading, Kylo leaves the ship on auto-pilot and turns to face an obviously conflicted Rey.

KYLO: "I'm proud of you, Rey."

REY: "I'm not. I've done something terrible."

KYLO: "Something terribly brave. You followed your own instincts, instead of the lies of your master."

REY: "To what end? To become another slave to the dark side?"

He looks like he takes this a little personally.

KYLO: "No... to defeat it once and for all. If you can show the same determination in the face of the Supreme Leader, there will be no limit to your power."

He reaches out his hand, and she just looks at it.

EXT. HIGH ABOVE LAHVER-4 – OUTER SPACE

Finn, Rose and Poe's SHUTTLE arrives at a small, reddish-brown planet.

INT. CORRIDOR OUTSIDE HANGAR (LAHVER-4) - NIGHT

They walk down a secluded corridor with Deejay, who looks over his shoulder occasionally to make sure they're not being followed.

They stop. Deejay lifts up a heavy, dusty tarp obscuring a door, and ushers them inside. It's dark; they can't see anything, until Deejay throws on a (very) few lights.

The hangar seems to go on forever and is full of dozens of X-Wings, Y-Wings, and B-Wings.

DEEJAY: "I took these off the hands of another dealer who got spooked when the First Order started cracking down. Said he couldn't unload them. They're too conspicuous, too--"

POE: "Rebellious?"

DEEJAY (snickers) "Like your outfits. If you're trying to avoid attention, you're not doing a very good job."

POE: "We'll have to look into-- (suddenly incensed) "Look, here you go." (hands him the cash-key)

DEEJAY: "What's this?"

POE: "Ten-point-two million Canto credits. Liquid and secure."

DEEJAY: "Nuh-uh. I plug this in somewhere and there's a trail leading straight back to me. I only deal in cash."

FINN: "And how do you propose we deliver ten million in cash?"

DEEJAY: "Ten-point-two." (beat) "Whatever way you can. Or no deal."

EXT./INT. MARKET AREA (LAHVER 4) - NIGHT

Poe, Finn and Rose walk the market stalls dressed in shabby rags - like (homeless) shepherds. The atmosphere is tense with MERCENARIES, THUGS and OTHER SCUM walking around, as well as STORMTROOPERS on patrol.

All manner of light weapons are for sale (including the odd lightsaber), with CUSTOMERS at different stalls poring over blasters, checking the sights, getting into DISPUTES about prices, etc.

FINN (still hobbling, but no cane) "This guy's taking us for a ride. What are we gonna do?"

POE: "I don't know. We gotta meet this operative of the General's first."

ROSE: "Maybe he'll know how to deliver the money?"

Poe shrugs – 'Maybe.'

FINN: "How will we know who this person is?"

POE: "We'll know."

INT. MAIN HANGAR, BASE (CRAIT) - DAY

Leia disembarks from her transport and tours the base with Holdo. In b.g., WORKERS install grates over the tunnel openings.
