I wake up with my throat hurting and my voice slightly raspy.
"Great, I am getting sick," I mumble to myself while slowly walking to my bathroom to get ready for school.
I finally get dressed and scan myself in the mirror. I'm dressed in a black turtleneck with matching ankle boots and plaid pants. After confirming that I look nice, I make my way downstairs.
"You look nice," my mom smiles at me. I thank her and smile back. "Are you ready," she asks grabbing her keys. I nod in response as we make out way towards the door.

Once I get to school, I make my way to my class. I get greeted by my best friend. "Hey Toya," Kendra smiles at me.
I respond back bluntly, "Hi."
She frowns but changes the subject, "How was the project with Jungkook?"
I glare at her then roll my eyes, "Great."
She crosses her arms, "Touche."
I sigh and apologize to her, "It's a lot going on right now and I've been thinking about the accident."
Her eyes soften as she hugs me. "They're in a better place now," she comforts me with a smile. I thank her.
She pauses for a second, "Speaking of the Devil, I better get to my seat Mr. 'Bad Boy' just walked in." She motions behind me with a nod then goes to her seat. I follow her gaze to see one very aggravating purpled haired boy walking to his seat. which is unfortunately beside me.
"I saw you staring at me," Jungkook smirks at me.
"Well you saw wrong," I sigh while taking out notes for this class.
"Whatever you say," he chuckles.
'Why does he keep talking to me? He knows I don't like him. He so annoying all he does is talk.' I start to rant in my mind causing me to zone out. I feel someone grab my chin.
"Why are you ignoring me?"Jungkook asks making me look at him.
"Because I obviously don't like you," I swat his hand away. "Go talk to your girlfriend, Lisa," I frown at him then continue to write notes. I can feel him staring at me as we sit in silence for a moment.
"She's not my girlfriend, we just-" I hold up my finger cutting him off, not even sparing a glance at him.
"I truly don't care, no need to explain," I admit I'm being very rude but I'm not in the mood for his games today. I guess he took the hint that I'm still annoyed because of yesterday.
"Hey- I'm um- I'm sorry for yesterday." he apologizes, with a hint of sorrow in his voice.
"I'm used to it by now, it doesn't really matter," I lie, still looking at my paper.
"You should come to the party that the guys and I are throwing tonight, it's formal," he offers, changing the subject.
"And hang out with all the people that bully, yeah I think not," I scoff.
"At least think about it, oh and you look great today," he smirks and winks.
"Whatever."
~
After class Kendra and I made our way to the school's cafe. She went to go get our food. While I was waiting for her at our normal table Jungkook and his group of friends sat down with me.
"What are you doing?" I ask him with an annoyed expression. I scan the table, he came with some other boys, including Namjoon.
"Sitting with you," Jungkook states in a questioning voice.
"You know what I mean," I frown at him.
Just as Jungkook was about to answer Kendra came back with our food. She looks at the table and frowns, "Who are they?" A shorter boy with curly hair speaks up, "I'm Park Jimin," Jimin smiled at Kendra then at me. "and this is Taehyung, Hobi, Suga and our Jin, " he finishes motioning to each of the boys, although the one named Jin scowled at his introduction. They all smiled and waved at us, we return the gesture kindly.
"You already know us," Namjoon joins referring to him and Jungkook.
"Tragically," I deadpan, glaring at Namjoon.
"Babe, don't be like that," Jungkook winks and puts his arm around me. I scowl and swat him away.
"Why didn't you tell me you two were dating," Kendra teases me.
"Don't you hate Kendra," I question in an annoyed tone.
"Yes, but I love annoying you," she says, holding back laughter.
I frown at them, "I hate you all."
"What did we do?" Hobi asks in a playful voice. We all start laughing. For the rest of lunch, we joked around until the bell signaling last class. We exchanged numbers with Suga, Hobi, Taehyung, and JIn and bid our goodbyes.
"Kendra, Toya," we hear a voice call our names so we turn around to see Hobi running towards us with a blue envelope. "I want to invite you to our party, Jungkook said he already invited Toya but I wanted to make sure." He finishes with a smile that is blinding. We thank him and made our way to class.
"You weren't going to tell me," I feel Kendra throwing eye daggers but I continue to look forward.
"What do you mean?" I play dumb.
"Don't act stupid, why weren't you going to tell me about the party."
I stop at the classroom door, "Because you would try and force me to go."
"You need to get out more," She argues.
"No, I'm perfectly fine," I frown at her. She and my mom are so judgemental. I'm happier when I'm by myself dancing, drawing, or something artistic. I'd rather be creative then partying with the people that I don't like. It will be hard for me to do the things I actually like to do when I lose most or maybe all of my vision.
She sighs, "Can you just go to this one time, for me." I examine over her face.
"Fine, only this one time," She cheers and starts talking about our outfits. I just look at her then walked to my seat.
"Rude."
