When I woke up I saw everyone around me.
"She is awake," Jungkook grabs my face. "Are you okay?"
I push his hands away, "can everyone leave so I can talk to my mother?"
My mother nods, signaling for everyone to get out. Once everyone leaves, I speak.
"Tell me the truth please," I say looking her into her eye.
She sighs then starts, "After the accident we all were rushed to the hospital. While we were there we realized Jaebum lost some his memory, including his name, me and you. Then the doctor told us that you had visual damage."
She wipes a few tears, "We couldn't put you through all of those at once, so we lied and made you believe Jaebum and Sebil died. So we changed Jaebum's name to Jungkook and they moved away from us. At first, we weren't going to ever let you meet, hoping that you would soon forget about them, then we decided that we could set you up to meet again. Sebil moved back and switched Jungkook to your school."
I listen to everything she said and it just hurt the more she said.
"This whole time I thought I was the lucky one, because at least I was dead," I take a deep breath. "but I lost the most."
"I lost my sight, so many years of my life wasted mourning, and most of all trust."
"Toya, we did this for-" My mother started but I cut her off.
"Can you please discharge me so I can go home?"
_______________
Okay so this is a key chapter it brings most of the story together. I'm sorry it's so short but i wanted you to get the key parts.I'll sum it up in a few points
1. Jungkook is Jaebum
2. No one died in the car accident, it was a lie.
3. Jungkook lost his memory from the car accident(his name, toya, toya's mom, etc) that's why he doesn't remember anything and it was so easy for his mom to change his name and life around.
4. Toya is very close to losing all her vision now.(stress can make it worse)
5. They told Jungkook and Toya the truth. If there is anymore questions just ask.
