Chapter 13

"Are you guys ready for the trip?" my mom asks

Yes!" Jungkook and I say in sync, resulting in us glaring at each other then bursting into laughter.

"They are so cute- they should get married," Sebil says, teasing us. My mom laughs at her comment. I look out the window as I feel my cheeks heat up. Jungkook laughs a little saying 'we are just best friends'.

Speak for yourself.

I see a car going the wrong way.

"Mom," I call out but they don't hear me.

"Mom," I yell while shooting out of my bed. I hear my mother's heavy footsteps coming up the stairs.

"What wrong?" She asks, once she makes it into my room, cupping my face.

"I had another nightmare," I say finally catching my breath.

She hugs me and tells me that she will call Mr. Kim.

"Are you okay? Can you still go to school?" She asks as she pulls away from the hug.

"Yes, I'm fine," I assure her.

"Okay, just call me if you start feeling bad."

"Okay, Momma."

With that she left the room, but it was something I forgot to tell her.

"Why was Jungkook in the dream and not Jaebum?"

I walk downstairs to my mom and Kendra eating breakfast.

"Toya, come eat before the food gets cold," my mother says. I walk to my seat beside Kendra and smile, in which she returns.

"Where you waiting long?" I ask Kendra before stuffing a slice of pancake in my mouth.

"No, only about five minutes," she answers then puts her and my mom's plates in the sink. I nod.

After I finished my food, Kendra drives us to school. Along the ride I explained my dream.

"It's probably only a coincidence," she says pulling into the parking lot. I shrug because she is probably right.

While walking down the hallway, we see the guys except Jungkook.

"It's Toya and Kendra,"Yoongi calls out and waves at us.

"Hi guys," Kendra says as I smile and wave.

"Hey babe and Toya," Jimin says then wraps his arm around Kendra's shoulder.

"Good Morning." Someone says while back hugging me then kissing my cheek.

"Good morning Jungkook," I smile already knowing who it is.

"Look at the couples, why am I so lonely?" Tae whines while leaning on Hobi causing him to glare at him playfully.

After a few minutes of talking to each other, the bell run signaling us to go to class.

In Class, the teacher started to inform us about our senior project, "This is an important project you need this to graduate but this year we wanted to try something different we will allow partners-" The class started discussions about who would partner with who, basically cutting the teacher off.
