The next day, everyone was early. Nobody wanted to experience detention again. All of them were doing their own thing some were playing, gossiping, and watching videos and other things. All of them were busy except Yanna who didn't do anything but observe her surroundings. She was so bored that she took out her notebook and jotted some thoughts she had in her head.

Yanna: The High School Stereotypes

The Over achiever

They mastered the balance of IQ and EQ. They are too busy to interact with other people. You can probably see them all around the school maybe in academic contest, sports competitions or getting extra credit for helping the teachers with their paperwork.

The Girl/Boy Nextdoor

They are the people who are too blessed with good looks. The majority of the batch just thought to them as vain. Nobody really got a chance to go near or get to know them for the fear that they may be "outshined".

The Preps

They are the rich kids who are seen wearing the hottest trends. Some of them claim that they are the most "basic people in school. I don't really understand by what they mean about that. All I know is they wear really branded clothes with matching expensive cups of coffee.

The Nice Nerd

They help you with assignments and who are generally good people. Usually in movies, the nerds are bullied because of their looks but in reality they are just not that vain enough to even care about their looks.

The Class Clown

The person who makes everyone laughs with their corny and silly jokes. I don't get why they even dub anyone as a clown, it's a really unpleasant joke if you ask me. I think deep down the people who always laugh and smiles are usually people who are crying inside.

The Jock

Known to be dumb but sometimes they aren't. All they had to be proud of are their giftedness for sports. There really much to say about jocks but in high school, if you are a guy, you might want to be one of them.

The Troublemakers

They are the ones who usually cut class and do all sorts of mischievous things in school.

The Bros

They are the guys who usually isolate themselves from girls. It doesn't really mean that they aren't comfortable with them; it's just that they prefer to be with guys who can understand their own "guy inside jokes". Maybe they just don't like dramatic girls to be around them.

The Floaters

These people are the ones who float around in different groups. They can't quite identify themselves yet that is why they float from one group to another in the hope to find people who can accept them. Sometimes the floaters could also mean the people who are lost in their own world.

The Outcasts

They are the most unwanted people in class for various reasons. It isn't really written in a book on why they are perceived as outcast. Maybe outcast because their personalities too unique to be handled by other people.

After she wrote it down, she heaved a heavy sigh.

Yanna: I wonder which group I will be in this year.

Yanna continued to write and doodle in her little notebook. She finished just in time before their class started.

Every class seemed the same and so they didn't really thought that 2 months have already passed. The five friends are already quite close, just close enough to be comfortable with each other.
