"Who are you to say I'm a monster?

I had brung forth you holy worship, and yet you pollute my home.
I had brung forth you protection, and yet you ruin my name.
I had brung forth you my own sanity, and yet you hunt me down for gain.

What can satisfy you?

I was once created to be cherished, to be adored and loved by you - long forgotten now. In return? I spoil you with life and riches.

Now you're in fear.

You brought the damnation of my kind, taking our spirits one by one until there was only one left.

Me

Worry much so for I am here to take back my pedestal. I am here to bring what you have given me; loss, fear, and solitude.
Fear me, like you've done for eons. I will break through your seas with a mighty bellow, ripping apart your homes, taking the lives of your kin.

The war had not ended with me.

It will end with you."

She broke free, clawing at the water's surface and gasping as her head moved from under the waves. Immediately, she was dragged down once again only to see the blur of broken wood, floating humanoid masses, and red.
Why was it so red...?
A heavy weight was pushing down on her lungs and she broke from the water once again, but wasn't able to take a breath before a wave rolled over her and pushed her further down, flinging her into a rock. Her mouth propped open, intending to let out a scream but only inhaling salty water.
I can't die...
Her vision grew blurry, but it was clear to her that in the oceans distance, something was staring right back at her.

"I swear to God, Donna, you just love to show off." The girls ears perked as she heard the familiar voice, turning around and seeing a tall brunette with lively green eyes and a matching bikini set, "Who throws a party on a yacht?"
A gentle voice laughed in response, it's owner flipping her blonde locks back, a white flower with pink outlining the petals settled within it as decoration, and giving a better view of her faded pink bikini top, "I mean, if my dad offers, who am I to turn down?"
A small smile took the girl's face as she walked over to the two others, feeling like she was growing shorter once she stood close, "Hey! I've been looking for you two all o-"
"Oh. My. God!" Donna squealed and held the girl's arms, "Isla, stop! I'm going to legit die!"
The brunette laughed and shoved the blonde playfully, "You are seriously dramatic. It's literally just a blue bikini."
"Okay, Mariana. Your bad vibes are killing my good ones so if you could just..." The blonde waved her fingers over the brunette and then slammed them to her palm, "...stop, I'd really love that."
Isla laughed softly and tucked a strand of her black hair behind her ear, "Where have you two been? I've been waiting here for, like, and hour."
Mariana smirked and clicked her tongue, "Well, we can simply say that Mr. Yum is leaving his girlfriend very soon."
"Bon travail, Mademoiselle." Donna clapped and wiggled her tongue at Mariana, "Someone is very spicy already."
"Thank you, thank you. I do my best!" Mariana placed her fingers to her lips and blew out kisses, her brown bobbed hair dancing as she did.
Isla rolled her eyes and shook her head, "He's not even that cute, Mariana. He just plays guitar and that's it."
"Guitar is so sexy though." Mariana pouted.
"Oh geez." Isla walked away before the conversation could continue, passing by people until she reached the furthest part of the cockpit and looked out.
The breeze was salty and fresh, taking back Isla's hair and cooling her off within the summer heat. She closed her eyes and took in one deep breath, a smile taking her lips as she listened to the waves lapping against the yacht. The girl couldn't help but smile, wishing for more days like this and praying that the night remained forever young.
Her eyes opened again, and something already struck her as off. Laying far in the distance was land, something she hadn't noticed before. The only land that should have been nearby was the small island the yacht was sailing to. Isla tilted her head examining the mass. Something about it didn't seem earth like - if that were even a thing - and it certainly did come out of nowhere.
