The week-long preparation for the Campus Moon and Star Competition had begun. Series of scheduled events had to be attended. The organizers rigorously enforced the event as if life was at stake. The Moons and Stars couldn't even find time to slack off.

Due to conflict of schedules, Beam was excused by Kongpob in all SOTUS gatherings until such time that the Campus Moon and Star Competition was over.

All former Moons and Stars of each faculty were also there to give guidance and assistance to their juniors.

The former Moon of their faculty hadn't arrived yet. Upon seeing Forth at the threshold of the room where they were having their photoshoot for the promotional ad in order to gather sponsors, Beam was literally way beyond surprised. He was astonished.

Beam stood up from sitting on the couch and walked towards Forth with loving eyes.

“Hello, gorgeous,” greeted Forth.

Beam smiled, “Hey, handsome, are you the Engineering's former Moon?”

“You're asking the obvious, babe,” Forth whispered, leaning forward, capturing Beam's mouth with his.

“How did you know that I needed that?” asked Beam referring to the kiss.

Forth answered with sparkling eyes, “Your eyes tell me so. You're nervous. I can feel it the moment our lips touched. Don't worry, I'm already here, babe.”

Their amorously affectionate time was cut off when the Engineering's representatives were called for a photograph, Forth kissed Beam once again, “I love you, Beam. You can do it.”

“I love you, too, Forth.”

The moment Beam stood in front of the camera, he was oozing with extraordinary stage presence. He exuded a certain charm that made everyone in the set mesmerized. His smile was very captivating and made both the camera and the audience fell in love with him. Everything was captured. Not a single angle of him was missed.

Beam took a glance on Forth, and let out a satisfying smile when he saw him staring at him intently. Desire was written all over Forth's face.

Meanwhile, Forth could only growl in silence. Beam was teasing him, but he had to restrain himself. It wasn't the right time yet.

“Geez, he'll win this. Good job! You made the right decision in choosing him, Campus Moon,” said the man behind Forth.

Forth turned to face the man, “You're late, Ai'Pha. Where's your Moon? Your faculty's star has been waiting for him for hours.”

“Oh, sorry about that. It took me along time to convince this guy here,” explained Phana while giving a glimpse to the guy beside him.

If Beam was beautiful, the Med's Moon was undeniably cute. The guy greeted him with a wai, “I'm Kit, P'. Med's Moon and bestfriend of the Engineering's Moon, Beam.” Dimples appeared when Kit smiled.

Yeah, of course! Everyone knew that Beam was the Engineering's Moon since he broadcasted it himself throughout the university five days ago.

Oh, Forth remembered! Beam even went to explaining to him as to why he didn't mention his name when Beam serenaded him through university's Broadcast Radio System. Forth actually didn't mind but Beam insisted on explaining.

“I want to keep my boyfriend's privacy. I don't want you to be subjected to any sort of bullying, most especially the most common nowadays, the cyberbullying,” Beam kissed Forth.

Beam continued, “We are fortunate though for having a university such as ours, professors and people around us who don't mind this kind of relationship. I just love you so much, Forth. I don't want you to get hurt, hon.”

Forth kissed Beam back, “I know, baby. That's why I didn't ask, and thank you for explaining it to me. I will protect you and our love, Beam.”

Forth was thankful to Beam for being so understanding and thoughtful.

After the serenading thing, Forth had actually gone through hell. Beam got everybody's attention including the strictest professor in their faculty. The senior hazers and his hazing team guarded Beam possessively. He couldn't even make any intimate moments with Beam because he was always surrounded with people.

He even managed to make new friends, and they were all good-looking. And, that made Forth get jealous all the time.

Forth scowled upon remembering his miserable life without Beam in his embrace. All he could do was whine in silence at the corner. He didn't want Beam to feel suffocated with his possessiveness and jealousy.

This Campus Moon and Star event was his bestfriend. It had given them a plenitude of time together. No hazers would keep pestering them around.

When the staff dismissed them, Beam quickly returned to where Forth was waiting, only to be surprised who were with him.

“What are you doing here, P'Pha, Ai'Kit?” asked Beam to his cousin and his bestfriend. He gave Kit a hug while a peck on the cheek for Phana.

“We're here for the photoshoot. Kit is our Moon, and I'm the Med's former Moon. Oh, how I miss you, Beam,” said Phana while pulling Beam in a tight embrace.

Forth's face flushed red with anger. Jealousy took over him. He immediately grabbed Beam's wrist away from Phana's embrace while giving Phana a death glare.

“Hey, Forth, what are you doing? Let Beam go,” said Phana threateningly.

Beam gently caressed Forth's chest, “Calm down. Phana is my cousin.”

Forth widen his eyes, and asked Phana, “You are?”

“Yeah. Now, explain,” Phana answered grimly.

Forth gulped.

Beam whispered, “You're dead!”

Beam giggled at the sight of a horrified Forth. Then, turned to face Phana bravely, “Meet my boyfriend, P'Pha.” Beam felt Forth's arm around his waist. That made Beam grinning proudly.

Phana and Kit were stunned. Their jaw dropped comically. Who wouldn't when Beam dropped the bomb right in front of them without warning?

A call on the Med's Moon turn for a photograph released Phana and Kit from shocked.

“We'll talk about this later, Beam,” Phana said seriously. He then gave Forth a warning look, “Keep your hands off Beam, Forth!”

Forth just shrugged his shoulders, and grabbed Beam's hand and walked out of the room hand in hand.
