Chapter 14

The instant Forth's car stopped at their university's parking lot, Beam reached on the door handle and got out of the car leaving Forth behind.

With amused face, Forth lengthened his stride to keep up with Beam. They were now heading to their faculty. He tilted his head to peek at Beam's face. Beam was still pouting his lips and furrowing his brows.

Forth could tell that Beam was not in a good mood. He somewhat knew the reason. It made Forth broadened his smile. Oh, how he loved teasing his baby!

When they were almost already in the Civil Engineering building, Forth grabbed Beam's butt cheek and squeezed it. He made it sure that the sky was clear before doing that to Beam. Beam moaned and turned to face Forth.

Forth hugged Beam and whispered, “Come on, cheer up, babe! See you at lunch. I love you.” Forth gave Beam's forehead a peck.

“I love you, too, Bad Wolf! Hmp!” Beam made a turnabout face and continued on his track without looking back because, good heavens, he knew he was blushing. He was so turned on with what Forth had just did.

“I'll return the favor later, honey. You just wait,” Beam muttered simperingly under his breath.

 
 
Beam arrived at the haven thirty minutes earlier than the agreed time with Forth. He already ordered for the two of them so when Forth arrived, they could eat their lunch right away.

The third year hazers were already there. They were consoling Knot over something. A listless Knot heaved a deep sigh before turning his head towards Beam.

Beam accidentally met Knot's eyes. Eyes full of longing. It took him completely by surprise. Why was P'Knot looking at him like that? Beam was really confused.

Knot gave him a muffled smile. Did something happen to him? He looked really sad with that smile.

Beam was startled when, all of a sudden, his phone rang. Phana was calling him.

“Shit!” Beam silently cursed himself for forgetting about his cousin. He bet Phana was still worried on him.

“Where exactly are you right now?” asked Phana.

Beam raised his brow. “At the hazers' hang out area. Near Engineering's food court, why, P'?” asked Beam. Why was it that the people around him today looked unusual? First, P'Knot. Now, P'Pha.

“Don't go anywhere! I'm coming!” Phana ended the call.

Phana seemed to be in their faculty for sometime already because, seconds later, Beam saw him approaching the Hazers' Haven.

Beam stood up and walked towards Phana. Outsiders were not allowed to enter the hazers' territory.

Beam scrutinized Phana's face. It was filled with emotions that anyone would find it too difficult to decipher by just looking.

“P'Pha, if it's about yesterday, you don't have to worry anymore. I'm fine. I have already decided to go home on Saturday to talk Mom and Dad.”

“Glad to hear that, Beam. But, that's not the reason why I am here.”

“Is it okay to have a talk right here?” asked Beam.

“No. Classified information,” replied Phana in a serious tone.

“Classification level?”

“Top Secret.”

“Shit!” Beam blurted out. “Wait here, P'. I'll be right back.”

Beam went back to the Hazers' Haven and asked his seniors to tell Forth that he had already ordered for their lunch.

Beam was about to walk away when he remembered something. He faced Knot, and said, “I ordered two, P'Knot. You can have my share. Cheer up na!” Beam smiled to Knot before running towards Phana. He grabbed Phana's wrist heading to the faculty's secluded area.



Meanwhile, back in the haven, the third year hazers were stunned upon seeing Knot smiled. Just a while ago, they had been trying to comfort their friend but none of them could make him smile. But, with Beam's words alone, Knot was now smiling widely. Even his eyes were glistening with happiness.

Kongpob cleared his throat to get Knot's attention. “We know that you like Beam, Knot, but he is already Forth's boyfriend. Forget him.”

“I agree with Kong, dude!” seconded Prem.

Knot sighed. How he wished he could tell his friends and the whole world who Beam really was in his life. He won't let Beam go. He would do anything just to get Beam back. Beam was so close yet so far. He wasn't happy with that. He wanted to hold him in his arms. He couldn't wait to shower Beam with his love and affection.
