Chapter 12

Crystal

After taking about 50 million pictures. I finally gave up and just decided to wait until someone could take them for me. I looked over at Nigel and could tell by the look in his face that he was deep in thought.

"What's wrong boo?" I reached over and grabbed his hand. He glanced over at me and then looked back at the road

"I'm good Crys. I'm just happy you know? Like I'm happy with what we got. Even if we don't have no titles or nothing. I'm happier at home. We finally about to be done with school. Like I'm just really happy."

He looked over at me and smiled so I smiled back. I completely understood every word he was saying. I'm happy with him and my life too. Hopefully I'll be out of Linda's house by next month. Like life is really good right now. "I'm happy too babe."

After driving in silence for a few more minutes we pulled up to the bowling alley. I looked over at Nigel in excitement. "Yayyyyy we're going bowling!" I did a little happy dance in my seat and jumped out the car.

Nigel and I walked in and saw Stephanie and Trey. I ran over to Steph and gave her hug. I haven't seen her in two weeks since she hasn't been feeling well. She's been doing all her schoolwork at home.
"Stephanieeee. Ugh I missed you so much."
"I missed you too sexy mami. Look at that beautiful ass glow your chocolate ass got. Looking like a sweet ass chocolate bar."

We gave each other kisses on the cheeks. We all walked to the lane we were assigned to after getting our shoes. The boys decided to get snacks and drinks so Steph and I could catch up in private.

"Okay before you even start asking me about this pregnancy I have to know. Did you have sex with Nigel yet?" I looked over at her and gave her a huge smile.
"Yesssss mami! About time. Trey and I actually had a bet on how long it would take and of course I won." She gave me a smile and I just shook my head.
"So my bestfriend and my very good friend just betting on my sex life now?"
"Not like that girl. Just you know, we were bored." She shrugged her shoulders and went up to bowl.
"Fuck I got a split. Fucking game!" I gave her a crazy look and shook my head. Stephanie was always the type to lose her mind over a game. It was pure entertainment.

"So how's the pregnant life?" She gave me an exhausted look and shook her head. She sat down and looked like she was on the verge of tears.
"I know it's your birthday but I can't hold it in any longer." I shook my head and gave her a reassuring look. "Talk to me boo."

"Crystal I'm not ready. I'm not ready to be a mother. I mean yeah I have 9 months to prepare but like this shit isn't fair. I've tried everything in my power to make sure I didn't end like my mother. I wanted to have my first kid after buying a house, getting married, spending one on one time with my husband. I just turned 18. I just became a senior in high school. I feel so tired all the time. How the hell am I supposed to go back to school 4 months pregnant?! Trey is so understanding but I know he wants to live life. Go to parties. Not be in my bedroom with me 25/8 just cause I feel so sick. I don't know if I can do this. I don't think I'm gonna keep this baby. "

A tear rolled down her cheek followed by a few more tears. I wiped them and pulled her into a hug.
"Crystal you are legit the strongest woman I know. God gave you this baby at this time for a reason. You need this baby and it needs you. I know you're gonna finish school and I know you're gonna go to college. Girl I'm telling you you gonna make it. This baby is lucky to have you as a mother. I know you're scared but hey I mean you've always been good with kids. You take care of all your little sisters. You're responsible. Girl you gonna be the best muva evaaaa!"

She looked up at me and we both began to laugh at the same time. She gave me a long tight hug and pulled away.
"Thank you Crystal. Not only are you my bestfriend but you're like an amazing ass sister. Would you like to be the baby's god mom? I looked at her and gave her a huge smile.
"That would be the best birthday gift ever." I felt a tear run down my cheek and gave her another hug.

"Oh god why the hell are ya crying?"
"And hugging?" Nigel and Trey said together.
Trey and Nigel came over towards with wings and drinks. Steph and I wiped our tears and began to laugh. After playing 5 games we saw it was going on 11:30 and the bowling alley was closing.

As we were all leaving out I gave Trey and Stephanie a hug. "Oh before I forget. Trey pay Stephanie the money you owe her over this bet of when me and Nigel are finally gonna sleep together. " I gave him a sly smile and he shook his head and paid her.
"Damn ya betting on our sex life now? What type of shit?" Nigel shook his head and we left the bowling alley.

While we were driving down the highway I reached over and grabbed Nigel's hand.
"This was the very best birthday ever. And for making this day so special I think when we get to my house you deserve a treat. " He looked over at me and I gave him a smirk.

Once we walked in my bedroom we took no time and got started right away.

I rolled over and looked up at Nigel. He had me wrapped in his arms and pulled close to his chest. He was still sound asleep of course cause you know that good good can put anyone to sleep. I moved one of his arms off of me so I could grab my phone. I saw that it was 10:00 so I decided to get up. I grabbed some sweats and and hopped in the shower.

Linda of course was at work again and I was extremely excited to get this apartment hunting started. While I was putting more soap on my body, Nigel walked in. I gave him a smirk.
"May I help you?"
"Girl put that 'I will ride you in a million different ways' face away. We are strictly taking a shower. I'll wash your back. You'll wash mines. We'll talk and be couple goals for a second." I began to chuckle and let him wash my back.
"So Crys don't get mad but we can't go apartment hunting."
"Why not Nigel? We've been planning this for weeks."
"I know but my dad called me yesterday and said that he wanted to have a family day and he wants to meet you." I turned around so we were facing each other.
"He wants to meet me?"
"Yes, now turn around so I can finish washing your back." I turned around and let him do his job.
"Okay so what time he wanna meet?"
"He said at 1 cause he has an eventful day planned I guess. With my dad, only him and god know what he means when he says eventful. But listen my dad is cool,laid back, chill. Honestly his only flaw is he flirts with any woman 30 and older." I began to chuckle and wash Nigel's back.
"Okay Ni. But I really hope your dad likes me. I've never met someone I'm talking to parents before."
"You and Carter were together for two years and you never met his parents?"
"No. He never offered and I never cared." It got silent for a moment before Nigel said something else.
"What were you two talking about yesterday."
"Just reminiscing."
"Just reminiscing?"
"Yes Nigel. I didn't tell him I wanted to fuck him in his car cause you came late. I didn't tell him I miss him. I didn't tell him I love him. He came over to me and said he just wanted to have a conversation. In the beginning I wasn't feeling it but then we started talking about how it used to be when we were friends and how it was when he was first trying to get with me. Remembering all that stuff was so funny to me cause it feels like it happened forever ago. But running down memory lane didn't make me wanna go running back."
He turned around and gave me a long kiss.
"Crystal it's not that I don't trust you. I don't trust him or his intentions. I just wanna look out for you."
"I get that but honestly I can look out for myself." I thought back to that party where I almost got raped. I looked down and broke eye contact with Nigel. He lifted my chin and gave me another long kiss. The kiss quickly became heated and he picked me and pinned me against the shower wall. I stopped kissing him and gave him a smirk.
"I knew you didn't just come in here to talk." He put me down and rinsed us both off before turning off the water.
"But who said I can in here to fuck?" He grabbed his towel and tossed me mine before walking out of the bathroom and into my room. I shook my head and followed after him.

Two chapters for ya! So next chapter will be the wonderful family day that Mr.Richards has planned. Can't wait to write that chapter. I have so many ideas.
