josh woke up hours later, sleep still tugging at his brain as he noticed the bed was empty and tyler was gone. stretching out his limbs that popped and groaned whilst yawning, letting his sleepy gaze scan around the room. tyler was nowhere to be found but the door opened halfway, slipping out of the covers before even realizing that he was almost completely naked except for the boxers that kept his modesty.

tyler never left when josh was sleeping.

the house was like a barren waste land for josh, no one in sight like they upped and left without even a simple goodbye.

not until he heard the small sound of sniffling.

"ty?"

the sound stopped and josh heard some rustling before a completely cried out and disheveled tyler came to view, the younger didnt even waste a second getting to joshs side and hugging him; josh hugged back but couldnt help but worry.

"i-im sorry for waking you, darling, a-and im sorry for leaving you while you slept."

yes, they did share nicknames for each other, but it was only for them and them alone.

josh didnt even get to reply as tyler cupped his face and peppered kisses all over, kissing the corner of joshs lips before rubbing their noses together.

"the family left for a bit, i dont know where they went since they left while we were cuddling so i guess that means we have the house all to ourselves."

josh only nodded as he let tyler take both of his hands and kissed the back of them before rubbing them softly with the pads of his thumbs, tyler now noticing that josh was still in his boxers and giggled.

"how about you go get dressed and then we can watch a movie, hows that sound?"

josh only kissed tylers forehead before practically running back to tylers room to get dressed.
