Day off

Ian's POV

It was my day off today so I decided to make the most of it. I was pretty sure Nina was off to so I called her and it went straight to answer phone. Well it was only half 9 so she was probably still asleep.
I decided to go to Starbucks to get coffee as it did the best coffee.
"Ian Somerhalder" eh a fan great it's flipping 10 am I'm technically sleeping. Fake smile. I turned around. It wasn't a fan it was Amy Triff my ex girlfriend.
"Eh Amy such joy." I say in a sarcastic voice
"Oh come on you missed me didn't you" she had an aww to her voice and she stepped closer.
"Yeah..I cry over you everyday." I tried to make it as sarcastic as I could.
"See you admitted it" she smiled.
"You never did get sarcasm did you" I say
"Yeah well I'm not British." she smiled.
"Right" I pushed passed her and wales away.
"So you and Nina, thought you'd have better taste!" she shouted after me. I stopped and turned around.
"Leave Nina out of it" I say through gritted teeth.
"Aww did I offend precious Nina Dobrev." she looked fake paniced.
"Just stop it" I them left.
"Ohbut!"
"Shut up" I shit the door and realised that the whole Starbucks had just watched that and it would probably be in a magazine later in some twisted way. Great.
I went home and had received a message from Nina saying she was at work and she would see me later. This meant that I could spend the day alone as I was pretty sure everyone elsewhere was at work to. I'll try Paul.
I called him after brings he picked up
"Hey Ian"
"Paul you off today" I hoped he was.
"Yup be round in few" he said and hung up.
Wow that was brief it was like text conversation. Anyway he kept to his word and was round within about 5 minutes.
"So you wanted" he looked at me as though I had a reason to be fair I did want to talk to him about the events in starbucks.
"Well I saw Amy today" I said looking down and not at him.
"The Amy or another one" he asked, Stupid question.
"What other Amy do we know Paul." I snapped
"Alright I'm sorry." he put his hands up like he surrendered. "what happened you had better not have screwed up with Nina." he gave me a stern look.
"No I didn't okay chill, anyway she can over and claimed I still missed her...which I don't and them she started insulting Nina and I shouted at her." I said slowly.
"Way to go Ian..." He sounded proud "So what's the problem" he asked
"I shouted Paul, I shouted in a public place and you know how word gets around with the paparazzi and what ever and the magazines will come up some twisted story that will make Nona dump me or what ever and I can't lose I love her." I sit down and look down.
"Hey Ian your not gunna lose her trust me I know that you didn't lose her before and your not gunna loose her now" he was looking right at me. "Look man you wanna go out and try and get your mind of it."
And that's what we did.
