The mall

Nina's POV

I had had a full on week at work and was enjoying the fact it was a weekend and I didn't have to get up. Though I did take that privilege to far by waking up at noon with a few dozen messages from Candice.
'Nina we are going shopping I'm coming over now."
Shit Candice was coming over and I was in bed. I jumped out quickly and grabbed the nearest clothes put them on and applied a little makeup and she then arrived. Well done Nina good timing.
"Nina, let's go." she was a little eager.
"Alright" we then left my apartment and went out to the mall. The mall wasn't that far away so we got there pretty quick.
"Okay where'd you wanna start?" she said as we stopped in the entrance.
"Breakfast" I say and walk towards the nearest food shop.
"What? it's 1pm" she gave me one of her judgey looks and I shrugg.
"What I haven't had any yet" I say and keep walking.
I get into the shop get me breakfast and sit down.
"Hey you want a magazine to read?" she asks getting up
"No they write a load of crap." I say and bite into my bagel.
"Fine just for me." she walks to get a magazine and sit opposite me.
"Do you hear about Ian and Amy" he asks
"Nope... wait what?" I looked up and stopped chewing.
"They were seen together in Starbucks." she said slowly as of she was waiting for me to flip.
Was he interested in her? Where they back together? Did he love me?
"Doesn't have to mean anything" I begin to eat my bagel and she still didn't stop looking at me. Probably because she knew that my head didn't agree with what was coming out of my mouth.
"Alright fine whatever floats your boat" she shuffles and reads her magazine again.
"What do you thinks happening?"
"Cheating. Nina you dumb ass" she shouts and we get looks she noticed and sits down whilst giving an apologetic look to them,
"Or she's just grippy" I say, I didn't believe a word but they were all possibilities.
"No he may just miss her and not love you." she said clearly annoyed.
"Gee Candice your his friend and you just presume he's done the worst." I say
"Well yeah because he's not my best friend like you, I'll accuse anyone or dislike anyone if they hurt my best friend." she said and shrugged.
"Love you too." I grin at her "but let's hear his story first." I say and finish my bagel.
"Alright" she gets out her phone and calls someone. After a few seconds they answer. I kinda guessed it was Ian.
"Hey....Yeah me and Nina are at the mall do you wanna meet us here........ normal place ..... yup see ya bye" she hangs up and looks at me.
"So Ian's coming?" I ask her
"How do you know it was him?" She sounded impressed.
"I'm Sherlock Holmes did no one tell you."
About half an hour later Ian came up to our table and sat next to me.
"Hey guys." he smiled at us.
"Hi now let's get to the point" Candice looked right at him "you and Amy in Starbucks." she didn't stop looking at him. He however looked at me and I shrugged.
"Well she was in there and you know her and then she started insulting Nina and I stood up for her" he said it so simply.
"Oh I was right nothing to worry about." I said and laughed as I was finding this to awkward.
"Your gunna but that Nina, that" she questions
"I dunno Any is kinda clingy" I say and Ian was just watching us.
"Alright you to have a fun unhealthy relationship where one on you is cheating" she gave Ian the death glare. "bye Nina see you later" she smiled and walked away.
