Chapter One

"Megan I got some exciting news!"My brother said running into my room."Yes?Justin what is it now...Im not going to VidCon no

matter how many hits I get!"I said knowing They invite me every year."Why not you can do something with this...you'll be huge.I'll

go with you Meg."Justin said upset."I'll think about it if you come."I said.I was sitting on my bed in my all pink room thinking about

going.I wasn't really anybody's idol at all.I wasn't pretty enough to.I had blond hair with browb highlights in it.I had pale

green eyes and my style wasn't all that great I was just a goofy person that got lucky enough to show up on Ridiculousness the show

once and be invited to VidCon. I really didn't want to go to.But I LOVED my brother and I was so close to him that I lost all other

reasons and decided this year only after six years of saying no I would say yes for him because I realized he believes in a career like this

for me.I only have my dad and my brother.My younger sister who was 15 didn't take it well when my brother told us about mom and ran

away.We tried to find her but we don't even know if she's alive.We still look for her but we know she's either dead or alive doing

something she never had to.I walked out of my room sloping at how bad I wanted to say no to Justin.I walked down the hall occasionally

looking at family pictures and decorations on my way.I passed my brothers room door.Plain and white with a bar over it which he worked

out on.I entered the den which is right by the staircase and is walled off my my room and the stair railing.I looked down the

railing to see my dad and Justin goofing off about stupid stuff.

I began to walk slowly again down the stairs,hands on the

railing step by step staring at my bare feet which was painted blue.I reached the bottom of the stairs my brother on the island of the

kitchen and my dad was leaning on it."You promise your going Justin?"I asked looking at him while they

both had smiles that extended to their ears.He nodded."Okay J,I'll do it this year for you and Kaleen and Dad only that's it.""Good

because we already bought plane tickets and we thought you'd say no!"Dad said.I wasn't angry.I looked at Justin and Dad who seemed

satisfied.We all had a silent moment of prayer for Kaleen we loved and missed so much.Everytime her name was spoken we silently

prayed for her.I went to my room to check my email on my labtop."We are inviting Top Viners and YouTubers

to VidCon so fans can meet

Later that night I finished packing to head to Santa Monica it was going to be fun hanging out in California for three days.I

took a shower and braided my hair.I laid in my bed only thinking about how not funny I should be in person.How ugly I would be

compared to those female viners I didn't even want to begin.I laid on my bed I do get alot of comments and complemets on how funny

and creative I am.There's nothing to worry about what so ever.I went to sleep.I was full of myself for tonight.
