Chapter Thirty-One

Well after the pain of wire stitching being pulled out they gave me and eye patch and some ice.Way to look stupid.We went back home

and arrived in no time.Matt was still on the porch.Head in his hands and elbows on his knees.I got out of the car and sat next to

Matthew."You coming in?"Nash said."No it's okay I'd rather stay out here with Matt."I said to him."So they came in?"He said talking

about the results."Yeah...they came in.""So...""Matt there's no baby...read this."I said pulling paperwork out of a

yellow envelope."See,no embryo was found."I said.He slowly nodded and placed his hand on his thigh."So...Your not

pregnant?"He said sighing."No...Im not."I took a deep breath and scooted closer to him."We've got a lot of things to talk about

Megan."I placed my hand in his."I know...We can start with how terribly sorry I am for putting you under so much stress.But you know

why I did what I did."I said.He squeezed my hand."I don't know what to say now...what do I say?!?"He said I laid my

head on his shoulder. "Nothing...Absolutely nothing Matthew."He took a deep breath.Most likely contemplating on whether

to forgive me right away or stay upset.I slept with Nash,I couldn't forgive myself.I felt like there was going to be a lot of trust

issues and a lot of mending but things would get back to normal if he let them.He got up and walked inside.Nash had been sitting on the

couch.I sat next to him."So you told homeboy?"He said."I nodded."Ya'll go at it this time?"He sat up."Nope.He actually let me

hold his hand."Nash nodded."Well good,you guys gotta keep an act up anyways.We're going out to eat with the crew."Nah

said."The whole squad?""Yep!"Nash said and got up.I walked into the guess room.Like old times Matt was in there too."You

heard?"I nodded."Yeah Im going to be looking like patchy the pirate but hey!"He smirked."Im still upset...I have a lot of things

that I want to go over alone."I sat next to him on the bed."Im sick of being alone."I said."At least one day huh?"He said.I nodded.I

got dressed again in a strapless red dress that was just below my butt.I knew I was trying to get Matt's attention.I curled my hair

and put it in a pony tail.I put on red lipstick and black mascara on my one visible eye.I placed on red pumps and grabbed my black

purse.I was good at looking good for a person who had one eye really.It had become dark.I walked downstairs yanking at the bottom of my

dress while pulling up making sure my bandeau wouldn't show.Both the boys hopped into my car.Nash in the back.Miss me by Drake

had been playing.We arrived at the restaurant.We walked into the nice place,no fans.Good!I walked in and hugged everybody,the boys

seemed more flirty than usual or I was paranoid."Holy!For a girl with one eye you look hawt!"Shawn said.I

laughed.We waited until we were asked how many people would be sitting with us."Oh um just ten!"I said immediately.The acting

began."We would need eleven.What about you?"Matthew said."Oh!Babe maybe I could just sit on your lap."I said grabbing

at his collar.He raised an eyebrow,I winked then he got it."Oh damn!"Carter said.They laughed at his reaction to our awesome

acting.Everyone walked ahead of us."Your good at this!"Matthew said smiling."I do want to be an actor you know!"I said.He

placed his arms around my waist from behind while we waddled back and forth to the table."Your good at this too."I said."Even better!"He

said.We sat down...in the same chair of course."You guys!Matt your lucky."Taylor said."Im lucky."I said to Taylor."Nah!

I am!"I kissed him on the lips the first time since the day we got into that argument.A kiss that lasted long."EHEM!"We turned

around."My god,do ya'll need a bathroom break?Like TOGETHER?"We laughed."Do you?Do you want to?"Matthew

asked."Why not?"I said getting up and walking with Matthew to the girls room."Wow..."He said sitting on the floor."Your

right...wow.""Your good at acting!Better than me!""Who said that was acting."I said smiling at Matthew."Haha! Okay...I got

you by the end of the night.I got you!""We walked up to the mirror."Unbuckle your belt and undo half of your shirt."He did as he was

told."Mess up your ponytail and smear your lipstick."I did it too.We waited about two minutes before walking back.He quickly buckled his

belt and buttoned as if he was trying to look back to normal while I attempted to fix my hair when we walked out."Fudge! Getting busy in

there or what!"Jack J said to us as we sat down,still a mess.I smiled.We ordered."So how have you guys been these past few

days,you,Matt,Hayes and Nash."Cameron asked."Great!"We all said at once making sure to look suspicious."Well..."Hayes

said but Nash did something to make Hayes yelp under the table just in case."I recently got my wire stitches taken out so I look like I

have no eye."I said they laughed."We see that.Does it hurt though?"Mahogany asked."Yeah,It swelled and bruised pretty bad,Im

wearing an eye patch to prevent infection."She nodded."Yeah,well...it looks kind of cool...like you would look good with one

eye!"Matthew said.I laughed at him."Really?What if I poked my eye out right now and it rolled out on the table?""I'd still think your

beautiful."I giggled while he repeatedly kissed me behind the ear."Babe,stop!" "Babe SHTAHP!"He mocked.I continued to laugh.More

faking and talking later we ended up going back home with Carter,Cameron,Mahogany and both Jacks who wanted

to stay over.I had got comfortable and laid down alone like usual.The door cracked open,I expected it to be one of the boys and rose

the blanket to where my bra wasn't showing.It had just been Matthew."Hey what are you doing in here?""An act...you know.Im

pretending like Im sleeping with you."He said and locked the door."Yeah...Yeah."I said groggy and scooted over to

the edge of the bed as he laid down beside me.I turned up to stare at the ceiling."Did that...that act,did it feel real?" Matthew sighed."It's

not Matt and Megan...It was more fake." I groaned lightly and turned over."Did you feel anything when I kissed you?"I said a little more

aggravated."No Meg,We weren't supposed to!""Are we ever...Huh Matt are we ever going to feel anything between each other like

before I told you I might be pregnant!Because Im not."He sighed once more got on all fours to kiss my forehead before turning

back over.I fell asleep stuck on whether that was a yes or no.At this point I don't know what we were coming to.
