Beca Mitchell is new to the high school. Joining in Senior Year is always a pain. She quickly befriends a small group of friends. Jesse. Amy. Aubrey. Emily and Chloe. And with it of course, comes all the complicated parts of high school and finding...
"Say something Aubrey" Chloe says desperately. Aubrey took a deep breath, then a smile formed on her face. "Okay" she says simply. Chloe looks at her with confusion and shock. "Is that it? "Okay"?" Chloe asks. Aubrey nods "Yeah, I mean. Realistically it doesn't change anything, just what sex you are attracted too. You're still the same Chloe I've known for years" Aubrey informs Chloe, whose eyes glimmered with held back tears. She walks over and falls into Aubrey's arms, taking comfort from her best friends arms. Chloe pulls away after a few minutes and sat aside Aubrey. "So, is it Beca?" Aubrey asks. Chloe acts Confused and surprised by Aubrey. "What? No! Of course not!" She says, Aubrey looks at Chloe with a bemused look. Chloe sighs and looks down at her hand, fiddling with a small ring before nodding. Aubrey places a comforting hand on Chloe's shoulder. "I'm sorry" she says to Chloe, then silence dawned over to the two. It wasn't awkward or bad. But a silence of understanding between the two.
Emily had dropped Becca off at home, giving her a kiss goodbye before driving off. Beca strolls to her front door,seeing both her Dad and Step Mom's car parked up. She opens the door and slides through, kicking off her shoes onto the shoe rack before entering the living room. Her Dad and Step Mom, Elisa, were on the couch cuddling. "Hey Pumpkin! Where you been?" Her dad asks, raising her eyes to her. She takes a seat on the small couch next to them, relaxing into the soft leather. "Chloe's to find some songs for the Competition and then on a date with Emily" she tells them. Elisa sits up slightly. "The Duel of Songs?" She ask, Beca nods causing a smile to form on her face. "The prize is either $5,000 or an all expense paid holiday to Hawaii" she explains to her husband, who nods with a smile then looks over at Beca. "Its about time the world heard your beautiful voice, Hun" he says to her, gaining a sweet smile from his daughter. "Thanks Dad" she says before getting up and kissing the two on the cheek before leaving to go up to her room.
Beca phone buzzes as she closes her door room, her smile growing as she reads the text.
Chloe:
I came out to Aubrey. All thanks to you giving me the courage to do it :) <3
Beca:
I didn't do anything.
Chloe:
You were the first i came out too. if it wasn't for you, I would of never come out. Thank you Beca. ily.
Beca:

Beca smiles at the text, Her grip on the phone tighter than usual. A message comes from Emily but she swipes it off her screen.

Chloe had taken this one night at Her own house. It was a fun night of the two just chilling around. The memory still danced around Beca's head like a little girl excited. sending a chill down her spine. Beca took a deep breath as she locks her phone, and walks over to her desk and takes out a small notepad and black pen. she taps the pen against her temple as she looks at the notepad, her mind racing with her own thoughts, trying to form them into words, into some type of explainable feeling. Beca had written songs before, but not for a few years. so she just thought it was taking herself a while. After a while, she has gotten a simple rhythm beating in her head, then she smiles as she begins writing down some lyric idea's.
Sorry this chapter is so short! But, Chloe finally came out to someone else. who else than Aubrey? And Beca swiping Emily's text to look at Chloe. instinctively, or she meant to? WHO KNOWS...
