(True Love by Jordan Fisher and Dove Cameron. the Jordan Fisher version, which is slow, suits what i was going for)

It was a week ago since Chloe had come out publicly, and she was thankful the news didn't reach her mom and dad. She wanted to tell them herself. They were quite... old fashioned, so she was unsure of how they will feel about it. Beca had been helping towards it, telling her that they love her and they will respect her. But the thought of them rejecting her for her sexuality still scared the crap out of her. But having Beca there for her was beyond helpful.

The two now stood outside Chloe's house. Chloe's eyes locked on the front door, painted white with the number 22 painted on it. Her hand was interlinked with Beca's, to which she drew strength from. She looked to the other side of her, stood Aubrey, who was adamant on being here with her, not letting her do this alone. "She has me" Beca had pointed out, but Aubrey shrug her shoulders at that response. "I don't know if I can do this" Chloe mutter softly, her eyes trembling on her house. Both Aubrey and Beca look at her. "Of course you can. You are the strongest person I know" Aubrey comforts her, Beca just simply nods in reply, Aubrey seemingly taking her words. "You don't have to tell them about me" Beca says as she slowly starts to draw her hand from Chloe's grip, but Chloe's grip just tightens. "No. I am not ashamed of you." She says, both Beca and Aubrey grin at Chloe. "There she is" They say in sync. Chloe chuckles lightly at the two. She was ready for this. She had had enough of being afraid, it had held her back these last few months, but no longer. Her eyes are now fixed with determination as she marches up to her door, Beca and Aubrey right behind her, Beca didn't really have much choice due to Chloe's iron-like grip. Chloe walks through her door and goes straight into the living room, Beca almost tripping from the tight turn. Chloe's mom and dad turn to Chloe, their eyebrows raised in curiosity. "Chloe" her dad says simply, his eyes gazing at Beca and Chloe's interlocked hands. Chloe nods at her father, then at her mother. "Right. So. I have to tell you something. I.... well...... No. Yes. Right" She stutters, Aubrey and Beca share a quick glance, holding back a laugh. Chloe takes a deep breath then straightens up. "I am in Love with Beca" she tells her parents. Beca and Aubrey were now beaming at Chloe, as her face washes over with relief, Her grip loosening slightly on Beca, letting blood flow through her hand, a rush of warmth hitting Beca's hand. Her father's face was unreadable, but her mother face was much more readable. the large smile was backed up with tears as she stands up and walks over to Chloe, bringing her into a hug. "Oh, my dear. I am so happy for you" She says softly, Beca wafts her hand in the air, letting it regain feeling. Chloe had a really tight grip on it when she was holding it. Her mom lets go of Chloe and backs away, her dad was now standing, looking at Chloe. "Love is a very strong word, Chloe." He says to her. Chloe looks over at Beca with a warm smile. "I know, Dad. How I feel for Beca is also very strong" She responds. Her dad nods then smiles. "Then I'm happy for you too" He says to her, wrapping the redhead in a hug. Beca looks over at Aubrey with a sly thumbs up.

Emily was still at school, finding herself in the music room. She had recently started playing again. She use to a few years back, but she kinda lost the time for it. but recently, she had a pull towards it. She had created a small huddle of cushions in the corner, with a simple acoustic guitar to her right. It was one of school's, so it was very used. But she managed to tune it right. She had a small notebook laid out in front of her, words written, scribbled and written over all over the page. on the page next to it, she had a musical notes, on it. She finished jotting on the words, then smiled at it. She had finally written the song. She reached over the guitar, propping her right leg up to rest the guitar on it. She began strumming, letting each chord pull her from reality and into the song. she closed her eyes. She knew the lyrics off by heart, so she let her mind drift. to her memories.

If I could do it all over, baby I'd do it different
Maybe I wouldn't be here, in this positionI found you and I lost you, looking back is torture
And it hurts to know I let you go, you live right around the corner.
And I could've had it all, could've had it all
