After a couple minutes in the air, Talila asked, 'Dovris, did you ever find out anything about that lady I told you about?'
'I'm afraid I didn't,' Dovris replied. 'Quite strange.'
Talila nodded softly in agreement. She stayed silent for a while, thinking.
'Dovris, I'm going back after this mission. I can't shake the feeling that she knew about all of this... somehow,' she said after she'd finished contemplating it.
There was a slight dip in Dovris's flight. She'd surprised him.
'Talila, of all the headstrong things you've thought up..,' he trailed off. A couple seconds later he sighed.
'I'll be with you the whole way, if just to keep you out of trouble again,' he stated, somewhat reluctantly.
'Thank you. I couldn't have asked for a better partner in crime,' Talila replied with a mad grin.
Dovris simply sighed, shook his head, and kept flying, though Talila would've sworn she'd seen him smile, just a bit.
