Part 5: Exciting News

The next morning I woke up and took a hot shower. When I got out I heard a knock on the door. I walked down the stairs slowly and then I saw Olivia. She has answered the door. When I got to the bottom of the stairs I saw that it was Nick Michelle and Jake at my door. The second they saw me they all ran over to me and hugged me tightly. Every one of them kept apologizing and saying that they couldn't live without me. I told them that everything was okay and that I wasn't mad at them. After twelve minutes of discussing the crash we decided to hang out on my back porch. Michelle and Nick sat on my couch swing while Jake and I sat on the porch in front of them. I noticed that we were all silent so I turned on my music I had on my phone. It was kinda funny because Thousand Miles came on and we all looked at each other. We all bursted out laughing. I was laughing so hard tears were forming in my eyes.

After about three hours of hanging out they all had to go home. Michelle and Nick got picked up by their parents but Jake had a car so he was going to drive. Before he left he hugged me tightly and then looked at me. "Lotty I honestly don't know what I would do without you. You are like my little sister and my best friend in one person." I smiled and hugged him "You are my brotherly best friend too" After a moment of hugging he left. Once everyone was gone I sat on the couch next to Olivia. She was watching another one of her reality tv shows. I just hugged her and laid there. Then there was a knock at the door.

I got up and answered it. "Hello Lotty." It was James. "Hey James. What are you doing here?" He looked at me with big bright green eyes "I came to check if you were okay and I see that you are. You are just as beautiful as usual." He said this with a sweet side smile that made me blush slightly. Once he realized I was blushing he let out a soft laugh. "So may I come in?" I moved out of the door frame and let him come into my house. I looked over at Olivia. "Olivia, My friend James wanted to know if he could hang out for a little bit." She looked over at me and smiled then stood up when she saw James. "You are the guy that saved her right?" James nodded "Yes Ma'am" Olivia walked over and hugged James tightly "Thank you for saving her. You are welcome in this house whenever you want." James smiled and politely hugged back "Your welcome." Olivia let go of him and then sat back on the couch.

I looked at James and grabbed his hand. It was freezing, just like his lips. After leading him down the hallway and into my room I looked at him. "Please don't judge me. My room is quite a mess and there are some drawings on my walls." He politely smiled "I would never judge one of the girls that I was fancy of." He started to look at the drawings that were hung up on my wall. Then I saw the one of him was hung up and ran over to it and took it down and hid it behind my back. "What's that?" He looked at me curious. "oh it's nothing." I kept it hidden and he smirked. "Well I guess I will have to get it from you now won't I." I looked at him and blushed "Only if you wanted to see it." He quickly ran at me and I jumped up on my bed and to the other side. I kept running from him but he managed to grab me and tackle me onto my bed. I looked up at him. His eyes were beautiful. He leaned down and I started to blush a deep red color.

I thought he was going to kiss me but he just took the piece of paper out of my hand and opened it. I laid there looking away from him nervous of what his reaction would be. Once he realized that the drawing was of him he smiled brightly. "This is an amazing drawing Lotty." I looked at him in shock. Most guys would find it creepy that a girl drew a picture of them but he admired it. "You really like it?" He smiled then leaned down and kissed me gently. "Of course I do."

When he got off of me I sat up. He was now sitting next to me. The questions popped into my head. Why was he so cold? How was he so strong? Did he want to be my boyfriend? I couldn't help it but I had asked him all the questions at once. I could see that he was scared to answer them so I told him he only had to answer one today but the others he had to answer eventually. "Anyone I want?" I nodded "Any question out of the three." He looked me in my eyes and smiled "I do want to be your boyfriend. Let me rephrase that. I need to be your boyfriend Lotty." The second I heard those words exit his mouth I felt like everything froze. The guy I liked actually liked me back. This never happened to me ever. I smiled and blushed and my whole face lit up "I would love for you to be my boyfriend." James smiled and then pulled me into a tight hug. "Then I guess we are dating."

A few moments later James said that he had to go. I walked him out and we kissed before he left. When I walked back into the house I ran up to my room. I started a group chat with Michelle Nick and James.

Me: Hey guys I have news.

Michelle: Hey girl what is it?

Nick: Tell us.

Jake: What is it? Are you okay?

Me: I have a boyfriend

Michelle: Who? :D

Nick: Oooooo Who?

Jake: Who is it? Do I know him?

Me: It's James Pastili

Michelle: LUCKY HE HOT

Nick: Well congradulations gurlly

Jake: Oh.... He seems cool...

Me: Well I gtg goodnight

Michelle: Night

Nick: Goodnight

Jake: Sweet Dreams Lotty

When I was done texting I decided to go to sleep. I laid down in my bed and closed my eyes. I couldn't help but remember the play fight James and I had. Today was by far the best day of my life.

When I fell asleep I had a nightmare. I was in some building chained to a pole. Everything was blurry so I couldn't make out what anything was but I saw bright orange. It was extremely hot and I could've sworn I saw people on the ground. In the distance I saw another person moving toward me but then they got hit by something. Everything was moving to fast. I couldn't see it. What was happening. Where was I? That's when I woke up. I looked at the clock. It was only 12am and somehow my window had gotten open again. I got up and shut the window then fell asleep again. This time I didn't have a dream.
