Heated feelings

           

Note: this chapter doesn't contain that much dialogue so we apologise if it gets a little boring for you guys.

Virgil's eyes widened, his tears stopping in an instant. He felt his cheeks heat up as Patton's lips were pressed to his own. He was surprised, shocked. He wasn't sure how to feel. He knew normally he would push Patton away. But for some reason he didn't. He didn't dislike this. He soon melted into the kiss and kissed Patton back, closing his eyes and relaxing. His previously racing heart now calmed down. Skipping a beat. He felt safe, loved, wanted. He loved this feeling.

Patton felt the butterflies in his tummy swarm like a crazy hurricane while his heartbeat increased as he continued to move his lips against Virgil's, not sure why he didn't want to pull away, he just loved being lost in this moment, it was a new feeling and he didn't want to let it go, he just wanted this to continue so he took it further by licking across Virgil's bottom lip, asking for and entrance.

Virgil blushed more as he felt Patton lick his bottom lip. But he didn't hesitate for a second as he parted his lips giving Patton permission to enter. As their tongues danced with each other Virgil wrapped his arms around Patton's neck. Getting closer. He loved everything about this. He loved how Patton tasted. He loved his soft, warm lips against his own. He loved Patton. A feeling he had never felt before. Or rather. Not understood until now.

Patton smiled against Virgil's lips, he Loved this, it had never clicked until now but all the times he worried sick when Virgil had panic attacks, stayed up late, not caring enough for himself, it all just made Patton want to be there for him and not leave until he saw that special smile that Virgil only gave him. It all made sense, he loved him. As he felt Virgil's arms wrap around his neck, he pulled him unto his lap as he started to slowly move his lips down his jaw to his neck, he moaned slightly at the softness of Virgil's skin as he left gentle kisses before reattaching their lips.

Virgil opened his eyes in surprise as he felt himself move onto Patton's lap. He wasn't prepared for it. But he wasn't complaining either. He soon closed them again as he kept kissing Patton. He whined a bit as Patton broke from the kiss but he blushed more and bit his lip as he glanced down at Patton who kissed his neck. He moaned softly at the touch. They then started the kissing again once Patton had reconnected their lips. The kissing went on for a few minutes before Virgil broke for air. He breathed a little heavy as he looked at Patton with his still red eyes from crying. But they were not filled with sadness anymore. But with love and affection. He gave Patton a soft smile, his cheeks still flushed.

Patton allowed himself to admire the flustered and tear streaked face before him that in his eyes seemed to glow, he smiled back at Virgil with loving eyes, not letting their eye contact break as they were still both trying to catch their breath, but the silence never felt awkward as he kept admiring the flustered boy in his lap. He never thought something like this would happen and he wasn't sure what Virgil thought about this, should he say something? Should he do something? He wasn't sure and as the minutes passed and his breathing calmed, he just found himself lost in those brown eyes. Virgil stayed quiet. He wasn't sure on what to say. Not wanting to ruin the moment. His old worries completely out of his mind as he just enjoyed Patton's presence.

Downstairs Roman had decided to look for Patton. He wanted to apologize to him because he didn't like it when Patton was angry with him. Or angry in general. He could be very scary when he was. He walked upstairs, first checking Patton's room. When he found it empty he figured Patton had gone to comfort Virgil, so he headed to his door. He opened it slowly and peaked inside without a noise. Not being noticed. His eyes shut wide open at the sight of Virgil on Patton's lap, both looking lovingly at each other. Roman decided to not say anything he closed the door and ran back downstairs. But his fast door closing did make a sound and Virgil jolted and looked over at the door.

"What was that?" He said quickly. He felt uneasy now. Anxious. It showed on his face.

Patton jumped slightly at sudden noise and turned to the door and saw that it was shut but was starting to feel a bit uneasy as well. "I'm not sure, I'll take a look" he spoke calmly before removing Virgil from his lap and made his way to the door.

He opened it slowly, but none was there. Just as he was about to close it however, Logan called out to him. "Patton! Get out of that catonsie and lets go to the store and buy food" he sounded awfully energetic but Patton had his mind filled with other things to even notice the strange behaviour of his friend.

He told Logan to go wait downstairs and then turned and walked back to Virgil, leaving the door slightly open. "I have to go now kiddo but I hope that gaming marathon is still happening?" He said with a happy smile before turning and walking towards the door once more.

Virgil nodded. Still feeling uneasy. But decided to ignore it for now. "Ye, of course...see ya later Patton" he said.

He watched Patton walk away. Once he was gone heraised his hand and let his fingers trail over his lips softly. He smiled alittle. He could hardly believe what had just happened. He was calm. And thedoor thing had completely left his mind as it was filled with memories of themoment before. He laid down on his bed and looked up at the ceiling. He soonfelt himself drift off to sleep. His all nighter only now catching up to him.
