The day passed on as Patton and Logan went out shopping for food. Once they came back home, the two stared to prepare the dinner for the evening but as the cooking commenced, Logan noticed that for the billionth time today, Patton had spaced out, he had figured he was just reflecting on some problem he was helping Tomas with again, but he never spaced out this much.

"You okay Patton? You seem a bit off" Logan asked as he walked over to his friend, placing a hand on his forehead to see if he maybe had a fever or something.

Patton just shook his head and smiled as the two locked eyes, reassuring him that he was fine when he in fact had been struggling to keep a certain angsty boy out of his mind. Meanwhile, Virgil slept almost all day. Only waking up about 30 minutes before Patton and Logan had returned home. He had had nightmares as usual, but this time they didn't end as nightmares. They all ended with Patton saving him, so when he woke up, he smiled softly. He could smell the food being prepared and stood up from his bed and yawned.

He changed from his pyjama pants and t-shirt before he left the room, still wondering if what had happened earlier was just a dream as he walked downstairs. As he got downstairs he saw Roman in the living room, looking at him like he was an alien. Virgil raised an eyebrow at Roman. He knew Roman was weird, but this was a bit much. He ignored him and headed into the kitchen where Logan and Patton had now seemed to be having a moment.

Logan felt his breath hitch a bit as his heart started beating faster while he stood there, so close to Patton and locking eyes with him. Patton however, was as oblivious as one could be, he soon broke their moment by accidently cutting himself while slicing up some tomatoes.

"Oh by rom ruins! Patton!" Logan shouted dramatically and quickly rushed to the sink with Patton's now bleeding hand in his, once again bringing him close to him while trying to wash of the blood and help calm the stinging feeling in Patton's fingers.

Virgil saw what happened and froze for a bit. He panicked not sure what to do until he remembered they had a first aid kit in the hallway.

"I-I'll get the first aid kit" he said before rushing to get it. He then rushed back into the kitchen and over to the other side of Patton. He looked worried at him as he fumbled to open the kit. " Are you okay Patton?" He asked in a worried tone as he pulled out some bandages.

Patton turned to Virgil and for the first time since this morning, he felt happy, he ignored Logan and turned to face Virgil with a calm smile. "Its just a cut kiddo, don't worry" he spoke softly as he reached over and grabbed a cat and dog patt(on)erned patch and attached it to his fingers and then continued to his cooking.

" want to help me?" He asked happily but got an angry huff from the other side of him as Logan seemed to be in a bad mood suddenly.

"Not to be rude here but wasn't I helping you? And should We really allow a negative soul like him in a kitchen full of knives?" He spoke openly as he gestured to all the kitchen knives.

Virgil smiled, eager to help. He was about to answer yes. But his smile disappeared quickly as Logan spoke. He was surprised. He would have expected a comment like that from Roman. But from Logan? He frowned and looked down at his feet. Feeling ashamed of himself even if he had done nothing wrong. If Logan started to think this badly of him, it must be true. Virgil didn't say anything, nor did he move.

He was frozen where he stood. Unsure on what to do. Patton turned and just stared at Logan in disbelief, he had no Idea what had come over him but he wasn't having that attitude in his kitchen.

"Logan, leave" was all he said in a stern voice that held a tint of anger. Logan looked shook but didn't protest. Once he left Patton turned back to Virgil, still wearing a smile as if nothing happened.
