As the dinner ended, Patton stood up and started preparing the dishes, he then turned to the quiet table where Roman and Virgil sat, both looked like the whole world was bothering them. He sighed in frustration before talking.

" Enough of this! Roman you help me finish the dishes and Virgil, go talk to Logan and try to figure out what's going on!" Patton ordered around in an annoyed tone while waving his patched-up fingers in the air before turning back to the dishes.

Roman and Virgil looked at Patton, then at each other, then back at Patton again. Roman nodded and got up from his seat, he walked over to Patton and started helping him with the dishes. Softly humming to "candy store" from the musical heathers. Virgil stood up soon after and slowly made his way out of the kitchen and up the stairs. He wasn't sure what he was going to do or say. Logan seemed like he had been ready to stab Virgil any second during dinner, so he was a bit scared, but he softly knocked on the door anyways.

"Logan? Can I come in?" He asked.

In his room, Logan was tossing and turning in frustration but froze as he heard a knock on his door, he flew up from the bed and walked over to the door. As he saw who was on the other side, he felt the Itchy pain in his heart and for some reason the feeling made him angry, but he was still confused about it.

He sighed and gave Virgil a sign that he could enter and then turned back to sit down on his bed. He removed his glasses to rub his temples in a frustrated yet calming way to stop himself from not screaming, as he did so he asked in a little to stern voice for his liking

" What do you want?"

Virgil could tell Logan was angry with him. He almost ad a radar for any negative emotions. He walked into the room and looked at Logan. He thought for a few moments on what to answer before he spoke.

"Patton told me to try and figure out what's wrong with you....why you seem to.. hate me so suddenly..." he said before shuffling a little where he stood. "So....what's up?" He asked

Logan put his glasses back on and looked up at the nervous looking boy in front of him. He knew he shouldn't be so angry with Virgil, considering he has done nothing wrong and in all common sense, there should be no reason to be mad at someone who had done nothing wrong but his logistic mind wasn't working as he wanted now with all these feeling flooding through him.

"I don't hate you Virgil, I'm just filled with icky human emotions right now and it's frustrating me to no end, I'm sorry for seeming mad at you" he half lied, he did dislike Virgil in the aspects of how easily he could draw Patton's attention and always seem to make him smile by doing nothing, he wished he could do that to, he was starting to wonder why Virgil was the only one that seemed to make Patton that happy, he wanted to be able to do that to.

" I'm curious though, how come Patton always seem so much happier around you? What's going on with you two?" Logan wanted to know so he might be able to use some of Virgil's strategies himself to get Patton's attention.

Virgil nodded as Logan spoke. Accepting the apology. But he was a bit shocked at Logan's question. Why did he care? He thought for a moment on what to answer. What was going on between the two? A lot was the answer to that, but he couldn't say that. He blushed a bit, but it was very noticeable with his pale skin. He rubbed the back of his neck and avoiding eye contact.

"I-I don't know...nothing special" he lied.

He was horrible at lying and he seemed very flustered, hinting that something was indeed going on. Virgil thought back on earlier today. He wanted to go back there, relive that moment, back in Patton's arms, kissing him. His mind wandered, and he blushed even more.

Logan saw the blush covering the black dressed pale boy's cheeks and immediately realised the lie. He felt pain cover his heart but an even stronger anger now as he now realised a reason for hating Virgil. Competition! That was the term for it. The competition of who would reach Patton's heart, although he was unaware of the events to have taken place this morning, he thought he had a chance and he was now determined to let Virgil know that the game was on.

"nothings going on my ass! You like him, don't you?!" He scoffed and stood up with an angry expression before continuing "but let me tell you this, it's not happening Virgil, he doesn't deserve someone like you, because he's going to have Someone like me!" He raised his voice as he spat the confession and source of his feelings in Virgil's face.

Virgil was shocked at first. He had not been expecting that reaction out of Logan. But Virgil was also the jealous type and his shocked emotions soon changed to annoyance. He looked at Logan with sharp eyes, not backing away.

"We'll see about that bookworm!" He hissed. He wouldn't let Logan take HIS Patton.

He loved Patton. And Patton seemed to feel thesame way back. He had never felt so safe with someone and he wasn't about tolet Logan ruin that. He turned around and started to walk out of the room. Notwanting to deal with Logan anymorewhile Logan huffed in annoyance and slammed the door shut once Virgil was out of his room and then went back to screaming his pillow to death.
