Cat-onesies

While the commotion was happening upstairs, Patton and Roman seemed to have forgotten that anything even happened. Patton had even found an old cd with Disney songs and plugged it into the radio and was now singing along happily while drying off some plates. He had been a little annoyed after the events that took place at dinner, he had never seen Logan so strange before, perhaps he should ask Tomas later to see if anything was on his mind that made him that way but for now he focused on finishing the dishes.

Roman of course was singing along with the songs. Almost a little too loud at times but he was a man of Disney, what can you do? Virgil could hear both Roman and Patton singing downstairs. He wanted to go down and hug Patton to calm down but Roman was still there so he couldn't. Instead he decided to go downstairs into the living room and set up the Xbox. So that once Patton was done he could join him and play some video games like they had planned this morning. Roman hated videogames so he knew he would escape to his room at the sight of it. He sat down on the sofa and the theme song for gtaV started playing on a low volume that could not be heard over the loud music and singing from the kitchen

The singing continued for a while as Patton seemed to really enjoy to just get lost and pretend he was in a dreamland like in a Disney movie. Once the dishes were done, he heard a sound coming from the living room and went to investigate, leaving Roman to fend for himself. As he approached the living room he saw Virgil sat on the couch, attacking some poor human in what looked to be a very violent game.

He sighed and walked up to his fri-wait, were they still friends? The word didn't feel right in Patton's mind as he walked over to Virgil, but what was he to Patton if not a friend? A... he thought it over again and realised that the thought of Virgil being his lover seemed to fit more, making him smile at his thoughts before taking a seat next to Virgil with crossed arms, not happy with the game he was playing.

" What have said about these violent games kiddo?" He spoke in a parental voice as he studied Virgil's face while watching him play.

Virgil noticed Patton enter the room, but he did not look up as he was busy with one of the missions. He looked very concentrated. He nodded at Patton's statement.

"I know I know. I just need to beat this guy up, take his money, get it back to the drug dealer, get my reward and then pay a hitman to take out the police chief so we can take over their forces and cause never ending riot" he said fast. His tongue sticking out of his mouth in concentration. Roman left the kitchen soon after.

He saw the videogame and huffed, making his way upstairs to his room. Leaving Virgil and Patton along downstairs. Patton shook his head in disbelief, he never understood what people found so amusing with these games, he was not much of a gamer but when he did play, it was usually Mario Cart or something in that line.

" But taking people's money and helping drug dealers is bad! And why cause chaos?" Patton asked in a worried yet very confused voice as he watched Virgil play. He was starting to question if letting him finish the game was a good idea.

"Yes, it is bad. That's why you play videogames instead of doing it in real life" Virgil said.

He had just finished beating up the guy, he had gotten the money and was now on his way back to the drug dealer while trying to avoid the cops. He soon got caught and shoot by a police officer and the wasted screen popped up on the tv. He groaned and leaned back in the sofa while letting his hands and controller flop into his lap.

"God damn it" he sighed. He would swear more. But he knew Patton didn't like it when he did.

Patton gave Virgil a disapproving pout as he grabbed the controller from Virgil's lap, the controller had landed a little too close to a certain place, accidently making Patton's hand brush the area as he grabbed the controller. Virgil's eyes widened at the touch. He tensed up and sat up straight. His heart racing and his face a soft hint of pink. He tried to calm down as Patton set up Mario kart. he soon managed to calm himself a little. Patton then proceeded to prepare a round of Mario Cart for the two.

A small flashback from last night's gaming marathon played out in Patton's mind and then an Idea plopp-ed in his brain and he suddenly rose from the sofa and ran up the stairs to his room only to come back seconds later in his cat-onesie while carrying something furry and soft in his hands, he sat back down and handed Virgil the furry fabric.

Virgil looked at Patton as he stood up and walked away. He wondered what he was up to. He took a deep breath, calming down all the way now. He then looked back up once Patton returned. He looked questionably on the furry black fabric. He just smiled once he unfolded it and found a matching cat-onesie but in black instead of grey,

"Try it on so we can match" Patton said happily as he awaited Virgil's reaction.

Virgil let out a soft chuckle as he stood up to put it on. "How many of these do you even have?" Virgil asked while smiling at him while putting the cat onesie on and sitting back down again.

Patton just kept on smiling at Virgil and squealed at his cuteness before hugging his arm tightly, admiring the fact that Virgil was actually in a cat-onesie.

"You look soo cute!" Patton spoke in a higher pitched tone, but he just had to express how cute Virgil looked in the cat-onesie.

"Now we match! it can be like our couples costume" he squealed unaware of what he just said as he grabbed the free controller and started their first round, feeling super happy.

Virgil blushed at both Patton's praise and for the arm hug. He couldn't help but smile. But his eyes widened at the couple comment. Did Patton see them as a couple? Did Virgil see them as a couple? He wasn't sure. He loved Patton with all his heart, and they had kissed. So, it would make sense. Virgil decided that he did. Virgil grabbed a hold of his controller and played along with Patton.
