"Morning kitten" Patton spoke in a happy yet slightly raspy morning voice. He stood up and did a morning stretch and yawned tiredly. " I'm going down to make some breakfast, see you soon kitten" he spoke whilst placing a quick peck on Virgil's forehead. He then waddled out of the room and down the stairs, humming a sweet song, feeling happy.

Virgil looked at Patton as he sat up, his lips curved into a smile. "Morning puppy" he said softly and sat up as well.

Virgil looked at Patton as he spoke. His smile never leaving his face, he nodded and watched Patton leave the room. He stayed in bed for a bit, about 30 mins before he decided he needed an energy drink and got up from the bed and made his way out of his room.

As(s) Patton was busy making the breakfast of the day, pancakes. Logan had awoken and decided to join him. He laughed at Patton's small attempts at flipping a pancake but quickly let his ordinary poker-face arrive once Virgil arrived. He knew there would be two reasons Virgil would come down to the kitchen, one being to help Patton with the pancakes, the other being he was getting himself an energy drink. Logan had a small smirk on the inside as he saw which direction he was headed and decided to make another little 'statement'

"You know that Patton does not approve of those right? It can give you heart problems and we all know how Patton values a good and healthy heart over anything" Logan spoke in the logical voice of reason, only loud enough for Virgil to hear of course.

Logan knew very well how Patton felt about those drinks and he also knew he could use it to his advantage since the two were more involved now, hit the right nerve and... Logan just smiled on the inside while remaining calm and pokerfaced on the outside as he read Virgil's reaction.

Virgil didn't pay much attention to the others as he entered the kitchen. He was too tired to. He opened the fridge but turned to Logan as he spoke to him. He froze. He knew Patton didn't approve of it. He had told him more than once but he needed the energy drinks for two reasons. Staying awake for longer and not being tired all the time, as well as grumpy. He didn't answer Logan. He looked at the energy drink he was reaching for but closed the door to the fridge instead. He felt anxious. What if Patton would grow tired of telling him he didn't like it? What if he got angry Virgil never listened?

Virgil turned on his heal and headed out of the kitchen but not before giving Logan a death glare. He was frustrated and since he was also tired from the lack of sleep and monster. Virgil's petitions were growing short. He walked out of the kitchen and back up to his room, without an energy drink to wake him up and clear his senses. Logan let a small smirk land on his face at the reaction Virgil had given, he then turned back to Patton as if nothing had happen and Patton hadn't seemed to noticed that anyone came or left.

" Need any help?" He asked as he leaned over Patton's shoulder.

"Sure! You can put the plates out, I'm soon finished here" Patton answered as he successfully flipped a pancake without breaking it, feeling happy that he was improving.

Once Patton was done he called for Roman to come get his food while he prepared a special tray for his boyfriend as a thanks for the great spider help that took place during the night. Roman was soon practically flying down the stairs at the sound of Patton's call. He smiled at the sight of pancakes and stepped inside the kitchen. He looked over at Patton.
