What do you do if one day your last relative dies, leaving you in a cloud of blue smoke and haze? Your parent's are dead, your brother never lived, your aunt was killed in a fatal accident, your grandparents never made it past 60, your uncle couldn't survived his organ transplant surgery, your cousins were involved with a gang who's hideout was bombed by a rival and your sister went missing years ago, declared dead when she was found dumped in a river. What do you do? What can you do?
No matter how many times he's run the situation through his head, Jason still can't process it. He can't accept it, so he rejects it. He is determined to find any last remaining relative, no matter how far he has to take his search. His search for both the truth and answers to his families deaths will take him over the ledge of human tolerance, an will bring him face to face with the single thing that broke his family trying to break him. He will need to use everything that he has found on his prematurely ended search to get him out of this.
Jason has been stuck in a rut before. but if that was a rut, this is a trap in the bottom of a pit, and this isn't one that can be disarmed and avoided.
