6 - They're gone

There's only 2 more weeks before this school year ends, and I couldn't be more excited because summer is about to arrive and me and my family always go on trips during summer. It's our family tradition. Once a year we make sure to go on a vacation together, free from school and work. And I've been looking forward for this vacation because we talked about going to Maldives! I can't believe it we are going to Maldives! This must be my favorite vacation ever. I need to finish school quick so that I can go shopping for new swim suits and summer outfits for this trip. But. Before that happens I need to deal with school.

I'm currently sitting in class and not paying attention to the lecture. My mind is elsewhere. Probably in Maldives. I was distracted by my phone that buzzed in my pocket. I grabbed my phone to check who texted me. And when I saw that I got a text from Aidan I automatically lift my head up and looked at his direction. Yes, we have this same class. But why is he texting me? I decided to open his message.

You do know that you look crazy smiling and frowning all by yourself right?
From: Aidan

I felt my cheeks getting hot. I feel embarassed the he saw me like that.

Shut it Aidan. I'm not crazy.
Sent to: Aidan

I put my phone down and tried to listen to the lecture. Take note, "tried". My phone buzzed again and I glared at Aidan for distracting me. He just shrugged, and I rolled my eyes and read his text.

I did not say you are crazy. I said you "look" crazy.

I just sighed and decided not to reply wishing that this subject would end.

As soon as the bell rang I got up and run up to my car. I want to go home and sleep. Once I'm in the car my phone rang. My dad is calling me and I answered it.

D- Hey princess?

A- Yes dad?

D- Can you come home quick please?

A- Yes dad, I'm about to leave school. Is there a problem?

D- Nothing sweetie. Drive safely

A- Okay dad. Bye, love you.

After the call I just know that something is not right. So I quickly drove off the parking lot and head home, ready to hear whatever they are about to say. I just hope it's not something terrible.

"Mom? Dad? I'm home!" I shouted as soon as I entered our house. I frowned not getting any response from anyone.

"Mom? Dad? Ash? Where are you?" Seriously? They asked me to go home quick and they are not here what is wrong with them.

I looked around the house to find them but there is no sign of my parents nor my brother. That is weird to me because my brother is always loud so not hearing anything is kinda creeping me out.

I went upstairs to check if they are in their rooms just sleeping, but when I entered Ashton's room my heart stopped beating.
