Hermione's pov:
Sixth year has just started and I'm already stressing about my NEWT'S. Typical of me as everyone says. But honestly literally getting killed last year doesn't help with anything either. This year's going to be really difficult with Voldemort on the verge of killing us all and scoring good in NEWT'S as it will decide the future if I stay alive....why so negative hermione?!?!
Anyways, the first period I have is Double potions with slytherin by slughorn. Snape made our lives hell for 5 years so this was something I was really exited about. I started going towards the classroom reminding myself that harry and ron do not have 'outstanding' in potions so they will probably not be there.
Everyone arrived and Slughorn turned out to be so much better than that biased Snape!
Narrators's pov:
"So today my dear students, we will be starting off with 'Amortentia' which is-"-
"love potion professor" a girl with bushy hair replied.
"Ah! And you must be Miss Granger."
"yes I'm Hermione granger".
"Can you tell us more about this potion?"
- "yes. Sir, In latin,'amor' means love and 'tentia' means power. Making it the most powerful love potion in the history of wizarding world.
This love potion gives a distinct smell of the person you are attracted to. It is different for everyone. As I can smell freshly mowned grass,new parchment and... Um.. spearmint" she said quickly as harry and ron arrived after fighting over something in the cupboards.
"Ten points to Gryffindor". Said slughorn."Now I will write the pairs on the board and you will perform the potion in 2 hours. I will test it on mice and grade you accordingly."
Hermione's pov:
-accordingly" said slughorn and the pairs appeared on the board. I started looking for my name and fumes started coming from my nose.
Why the heck am I paired with ferret faced Malfoy?! I would trade him for Neville happily. Great way to start this year! Oh merlin! Murder me already!
I thought while approaching the table where Draco was standing.
