"I've really missed you," I said, surprised that I actually said that out loud. I didn't know what else to really say, so I just stood there waiting for Luke to say something.

Luke just stared at me. He didn't look like he was planning on saying anything. He looked shocked, and even more surprised. His eyes started to widen, as mine looked down to the ground in shame. I felt embarrassed, and almost regret coming over here in the first place.

As I continued to stare down at the ground, I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist. I look up to see Luke leaning over me, his body pressed up against mine. He slowly started to lean his head down, as his forehead pressed against mine.

"And I've really missed you," He finally said, slowly starting to place his lips on mine. His lips barely brushed against mine, as then he finally leaned in closer, wrapping his arm tighter around my waist. I stood up a little taller, letting my lips slowly move against his. I didn't care that we were in the doorway of his house when anybody could walk by, all that mattered was that we were here, in this moment together. I knew this was the right thing to do, I've really missed him, and this was my way of showing it.

We stood there for a couple of seconds, our tongues traveling against each others for what seems like forever. My back was leaning up against the door frame, as his body was pressed up against mine.

Luke then pulled away, signaling for me to step out of the doorway. I took a couple steps further into his house, as I heard him shut the front door behind me. Before I could get any further into his house, his arms wrapped back around my waist, pushing me slowly up against his door. My hands found there way up to his neck, beginning to pull softly at the ends of his hair. His hands traveled up under my shirt, tracing small circles on my bare skin. I had no idea where this was going, but I was fine with it. His lips stayed glued to mine, as he bit down on my bottom lip. His lips moved from my lips, down towards my jawline where he began to suck. He then started to travel further down my neck, until he stopped, and took a deep breath, his eyes glued to mine.

"I-I'm sorry," Luke let out a nervous chuckle, stepping away from me.

"W-what" I say back, not understanding why he is saying he's sorry.

"I shouldn't have just pushed myself on to you like that." He says, sliding his hands into his front pockets.

I didn't really know what to say back to him, so I just looked down to the floor. I now felt embarrassed again for coming over because now it seems like Luke doesn't want to be around me anymore.

"Come on," Luke says, grabbing my hand and leading me further into his house. I smile back, lacing our fingers together as I follow him to wherever he is taking me.

We ended up in his living room, laying next to each other on the couch. We haven't said much to each other yet, just sat in a comfortable silence.

"I'm sorry about earlier," Luke said, breaking the silence.

"Luke-" I started to say, but he cut me off.

"I stopped because I know you have a boyfriend, and I-I, it was wrong of me to do that,"

"Luke," I say again, but he interupts me once again.

"No, I know you are going to say it's okay, but it's not. You have a boyfriend that you just cheated on and it's my fault!" He said, but a little too loud. "I've just really missed you Scar, and I just didn't want to go any longer without kissing you," he finally finished after a releasing a long breath he was holding in. He laced our fingers together, using his thumb to trace over my skin.

"You don't have to be sorry," I say back, getting ready to tell him about Tanner, well not everything.

"Yes I do Scar."

"Tanner and I's relationship is basically over," I say, holding in a breath.

"W-what?" He says, giving my hand a tight squeeze.

"Things just aren't working out anymore. He's hurt me too many times," I say, thinking through all the memories between Tanner and I, good and bad.

"Hurt you?"

"Emotionally," I say just to make sure he doesn't think he hurts my physically, nobody needs to know that. "All we do is fight, and it just hurts."

"You need to end it with him Scar, that isn't good," Luke says, pulling me closer to him, to try and comfort me.

"He hasn't been at school. Or I don't think he has been, I haven't seen him at all."

"Go over to his house then," Luke said, turning a little more to face me. We weren't in the most comfortable position on his couch, but at least we were next to each other.

"No," I said a little too fast. I know Luke wants me to end it with him, but there's no way I'm going over to his house where we can be alone. I knew Luke didn't understand why I couldn't, but I hope he wouldn't care, or want to talk about it further.

"Oh," was all that Luke had to say. I'm glad he didn't question me about it because then I would have to make some stupid lie up. "I understand," Luke said again, but I don't think he really does understand.

-

"Ow!" I yelled as Luke was pouring the pasta into the strainer that was placed in the sink. It was around 6 o'clock now, and Luke and I were starving. We spent the last two hours sitting on the couch, catching up on everything that has happened recently. We then finally decided that we wanted to make some dinner for us. Luke's mom wasn't home, so we had the house to ourselves.

Luke was now pouring the boiling water filled with pasta in the strainer that I had been holding for him. A little of the hot water had got on my hands, so I flinched and dropped the strainer in the sink.

"Shit, sorry!" Luke said, placing the hot pot on the counter. The pasta was now all strained out, and we were now just waiting for it to cool off before we started eating.

It didn't hurt that bad, just surprised me and caused me to drop the bowl in the sink. Luke turned the cold water on for me to place my hand underneath. I placed my hand under the running water, and it starting to sting a little, but all the pain finally went away.

I don't know what was actually happening with Luke and I at the moment, but whatever it was, it was exactly like old times. Luke was acting himself, and not pretending to be anyone else. He would joke around, and just be happy. I saw his true smile again, and heard his perfect laugh.

"Thanks," I said as Luke got us out two bowls to put our pasta in.

"Do you want this sauce to go on it? I have no idea what it is, I just know that it goes on pasta." Luke laughed, taking it out of the cabnit.

"Sure," I laughed along with Luke as I watched him un screw the lid to the pasta sauce.

I continued to watch Luke pour the sauce into both of our bowls and stir it up.

"Okay, we're done!" Luke cheered, seeming happy that it was finally time to eat.

Luke walked away to put the sauce back into the cabnit, but then turned around quickly to wipe some remaining sauce on the tip of my nose.

"Luke! You did not just do that," I yelled softly, wiping the sauce off of my nose.

"Maybe I did," Luke laughed, quickly walking away from me.

I ran around the island that was placed in the middle of the kitchen until we finally ended right back in front of the counter where we were before. I turned on the faucet, and splashed a little bit of water in Luke's direction. He held his hands up trying to shield himself from the water, but it obviously didn't work.

"Don't you dare," Luke said with a big smile on his face as he saw me turn the faucet back on. I wasn't going to splash him anymore since I didn't want to make a mess, but I just wanted to mess with him.

He quickly ran over in my direction wrapping my arms around my waist, trying to life me up. He brought me over to the table were our dinner was probably starting to get cold, and leaned me up against it. My hands were resting on his shoulders, with his gripping my waist. He leaned in, and pressed a few short kisses on my forehead.

And just like that, I could tell that I was falling for him, once again.
