Most of this week has been nothing but ominous, it's been raining for the past few days and Midoriya couldn't help but think that something bad will happen like in those cliché horror movies when someone dies and it rains at the funeral. It was quite beautiful, though he never really was the gloomy weather type.

He looks out the window next to him, studying the sky. It was rare for a sunshower but there it was, the sun's rays shining beautifully through the muddled clouds, casting a great radiance against the contrasting colored fog. The event created a rainbow while it was still raining, making Midoriya awe slightly. Mr. Aizawa droned on, reviewing everything that they went over that year so Midoriya wasn't really missing anything.

The green-haired boy looked toward the clock and took a second to decipher the time as it hung over Mr. Aizawa's head. They still had around twenty-five minutes until dismissal, prompting a groan to slip from Midoriya's lips before he could catch it. The blonde that sat in front of him turned his head slightly and glanced at his freckled face angrily.

Instead of the usual advert of his eyes, Midoriya narrowed his own green disks, returning the glare happily. Red eyes widen a fraction, anger building up behind them at the thought of the green-haired male retaliating against them.

Bakugou turned around in his seat while Midoriya just stood still. What the hell was he doing, trying to get beat? "What was that?" He grumbled out, challenging him to repeat himself. Midoriya made dead eye contact and Bakugou flipped his lid. He jumped out of his seat and pulled Midoriya out of his by his collar. "The fuck you smiling about!?" He hissed and the green-haired boy's hand shot to his mouth to feel a grin replacing his usually relaxed expression.

"I-I i-it's not l-like it seems! I didn't- I mean- I'm sorry- Gah!" Midoriya stumbled over his words through the collar that was strangling him. He attempted to push them past the lump in his throat but to no avail. He tried to communicate with his words and ask for mercy with his hands, but it just looked like he was flailing them in the air.

The image of himself doing something so embarrassing made him halt his movements and a blush rise to his cheeks. His arms stood frozen in the air as he looked around the class. Of course, they just had to have all their eyes trained on him and he couldn't hold their gazes, turning away from them. He wished the ground would swallow him whole and the outside world seemed mighty interesting.

"Oi, you fucking nerd, listen to me when I'm talking to you!" His harsh tone made Midoriya flinch, and he was so sorry for making Bakugou angry.

When he found his words, the green-haired boy spoke softly, "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you mad."

"Like fuck, you didn't mean to make me mad, what right do you have to look at me like that!?" Midoriya had no idea what to do, and his mind raced to find a way to defuse the situation but nothing seemed to work. Suddenly, a third hand grabbed his shirt and he was promptly shoved back. Midoriya tripped over his own foot and stumbled back, falling to the floor. Standing above him was Todoroki, he placed himself between the two boys.

"This is disrupting the class." He said simply and the chill of his voice sent shivers down Midoriya's spine. Like hell he cared. Bakugou clicked his tongue in annoyance and sat back down, glaring at the green-haired boy heatedly before turning back to the front of the class, no doubt still glaring.

Todoroki held out his hand to the boy still sitting on the floor and he hoisted himself up using it. "Uh. Thanks." He said in a small voice, looking away from the heterochromatic gaze. He glanced at him as he walked past him back to his own seat. Their eyes locked for a brief moment before they both looked away and sat down. Midoriya went back to looking out the window, kind of angry at how often Bakugou got mad at him.
