helloooo.

"Y-you what?" I stutter. There is no way I just heard correctly. I should really get my ears checked, haven't done that in a while. Yeah, there is positively something wring with my hearing. No other solution.
"I want to get back together, with you." He say slowly. Almost like he was talking to a small child. But I was no small child. I'm a rejected nineteen year old with great music taste, nice clothing, and dimples. Totally not a small child.
"and you tell me this now?" I raise and eyebrow. He sighs and rubs his hands together. I refuse to meet his eyes, because if I do, I know I'll cave and go right back to him.
"What about Jason?" I mumble looking at the ground like it was the most interesting thing in the world.
"What about him?" He asks.
"Well, last time I checked, you guys were a thing." I say back hotly. He chuckles which confuses me, how could this be funny? He's telling me about how he wants me back, we're about to discuss Jason, and he's laughing?
This was another thing that made us end, we were complete opposites. He's calm in the most serious situation, while I'm sweating buckets. He takes nothing seriously, like our relationship. While took everything seriously. But I guess, opposites don't always attract.
"I left him." He said simply.
"Why?"
"Because of you." He smiles sweetly and I force back one in return. I can't take him back, he hurt me. He hurt me more than once. I'm not going through that again.
"And you were positive that I was going to take you back?" I raised an eyebrow and he shrivels away. He bites his lip and shrugged,"I guess I was hoping to get lucky."
"It isn't always about luck," The door opened and I saw the familiar quaff of blonde hair enter. I smiled to myself once the bright blue eyes met my own hazel ones. I saw him nod toward Calum with a confused expression. I bit my lips and shook my head, hoping Calum wouldn't catch on.
"Now I think you should go, I have work to do." I mumbled. Calum raised his eyebrows and sighed with a frown.
"I take that as a 'no'," He whispers. All I do is nod.
"Okay, bye Ashton. Maybe one day I can make it up to you." I shrug. He nods and leaves the shop.
I was in my own little world for what seemed like ages, but in reality was five seconds. I heard the gruff of Luke's voice. I broke my stare on the plank of wood before me, and met his gaze.
"You okay?" He asks.
"I'm not entirely sure." I let out a breathy laugh.
"I'm assuming you have a history with that bloke?" He nods to the doors Calum had exited moments ago.
"Don't always assume things, but yes. I did have history with him." I smile at him and he bite his lip while nodding.
"I see. We can talk about it after your off, if you want." He offers. I wave my hand dismissively.
"Nah, don't want to strike any bad memories." I say. Now that he mentioned about when I'm off. I looked over at the clock hanging above the door. I only had four more hours until I was free.
"I still have a few hours to go. You can come back later," I say to the blonde.
"No, its good. I can keep you company." He chuckles and I giggle softly. I opened the little gate that lead to the cashers area.
"Then get your ass in here and stay out of my way." He raises his hands and steps behind the counter. He takes a seat on the ground before I could offer him a stool. I laugh loudly and shrug. He's sitting Indian style and he's playing with his hands. He honestly looks adorable.
I looked over at Brian, he was taking control over the radio today so I didn't have too much on my plate. He saw me looking and shot a glance at Luke. I shake my head and mouth 'don't'. He nods and goes to change the song.
"Okay. So that tune was Supersoaker by Kings Of Leon. This next one is A Daydream Away by the amazing All Time Low." He says and as soon as he finishes that last sentence the music fills the shop. I see Brian stand and make his way to us.
"I'm going on break, be back in fifteen. Later, Irwin." Before I could reply he was racing out the door. I shake my head and chuckled lowly.
"Ashton?" I hum in response.
I feel a presence behind me and turned to see Luke smiling sweetly.
"Wanna dance?" He offers me his hand. I giggle and nod, I grasp his hand and he pulls me in. We begin swaying and I feel like I'm in Nirvana.
"Your just a daydream away. I wouldn't know what to say if I had to." He sings softly into my ear. This keeps up until I hear the soon to last lines of the song. I forced myself to pull away from his body. He sighs and I make my way to the booth. The final strums of the guitar fade out and I pull on the headphones.
"That song was killer. It was A Daydream Away by the notorious All Time Low. Coming up is I Miss You by Blink 182." I sigh and get out of the booth. I see Luke standing tall and he smirks at me.
"What's got you smirking?" I ask as I got behind my post.
"Nothing."
