I finished eating my sandwich and washed my face, brushed my teeth, did light make up as always and went to my closet to choose and outfit for the day. I decided to wear an oversized white shirt with a pair of black leggings and my white Airforce Ones. I put my lovely, wavy, light pink hair into dutch braids and put on Shawn's festival tour merch cap. I grabbed my bag, phone, keys and headed out. Shawn's condo wasn't too far from the shopping mall so I decided to walk. But boy was that a bad idea.

I'm almost at the shopping mall when some paps find me. There aren't too many, but still it seems like there are a lot. The flashes of the camera, the so many questions that they're yelling, feeling surrounded, I hate it. I have my big sunglasses on, but they aren't helping much.

"Can you please let me pass? I'm just trying to go meet up with a friend." (I ask in the nicest way possible)

Still they won't let up. I'm shielding my eyes and my face with my hand trying to get through when I hear a car honk. It continues to honk and the paps turn towards it. I look to see who's driving and it's William and Adalyn, I take it they're trying to help me, so I get into the back seat and he drives us to the mall.

"Jesus, you guys couldn't have come at a better time." (me)

"Oh it's no big." (Will)

"It really is. By the way, how'd you know where I was?" (me)

"We didn't. Coincidence. I was about to drop Addy to the mall, since she said she was meeting you. And she saw the cameras and your pink hair, and we figured it was you and had to help." (Will)

"Well, thank you. I don't know what I would've done if you guys hadn't shown up. So thank you." (me)

Adalyn and I got out of the car, thanked Will for dropping us to the mall and made our way inside.

"It's been forever Addy!" (I say giving her a huge hug)

"Yeah Bree, I know. It really has been." (Adalyn)

"So have you been? How's your family?" (me)

"We've all been really great! Mom and dad's been good, but things just haven't been the same since we found out mom had cancer last year." (Adalyn)

"Oh man, I'm so sorry." (me)

"Yeah, she's in recovery now, and she's doing a lot better." (Adalyn)

"That's good." (me)

"Yup. You know, Will misses you." (Adalyn)

"Yeah?" (me)

"Yeah, he talks about you from time to time and mom and dad ask about you, too. Ever since you two broke up, he hasn't dated anybody, or talked to any girls or anything like that." (Adalyn)

"Really?" (me)

"Yep. He wanted to hang out with us today, but I told him it was "girl catch up time". He didn't care, but wants to see you again sometime." (Adalyn)

"Oh yeah. I mean I guess so. I'm actually seeing someone right now." (me)

"Oh really?" (Adalyn)
