"Janessa Bree King. This is only the very beginning of our story. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and write our own happy ending. So will you make me the happiest man on earth tonight by doing me greatest honor of becoming my best friend, my lover, my WIFE for the rest of my life?" (Shawns asks while opening the box revealing, the most beautiful round-cut diamond ring with eight diamonds on the band, four on either side of the center diamond.)

"Shawn, ohmygod, of course! YES YES YES! A million times yes!" (me)

He slides the ring on and I admire how beautiful it is, and I of course already know the meaning behind the eight diamonds. I realize that the bracelet and the ring match.

"I know it's kind of fast and soon, but I love you with all my heart." (Shawn)

"I know Shawn, I know." (I say before cupping his face and kissing him with so much passion I feel like I'm going to pass out)

We pull away just for a moment and rest our foreheads against each other's. We catch our breaths for a moment.

"I love you so much Nessa." (Shawn)

"I love you, too. More than you'll ever know." (me)

"We should head back, eh?" (Shawn)

"Yeah, let's get back. It's getting cold now." (me)

Shawn got in front of me and crouched over.

"What are you doing?" (me)

"Well my fiancée, I am offering you a piggyback ride." (Shawn)

"Well MY fiancé, I accept." (I laugh before hopping onto his back)

When we get to the front of the hotel, Jake and Kyndra are waiting for us there and don't seem amused. But both of their eyes travel to the ring on my finger thats wrapped around Shawn's neck, and then they look up at us, almost completely in sync.

"Uhh.. Congrats?" (Jake saying it as if its a question and not a statement)

"Ohmygod. The news is going to blow up." (Kyndra says still in shock)

"Well, thank you Jake. And Kyndra don't worry. We got this." (I say as Shawn let's me down)

"Kyndra, Jake, you guys can't tell anybody yet okay? I'm gonna tell Andrew when he wakes up, and then we'll figure out what to do from there." (Shawn say holding my hand)

"But what if someone saw you guys out-- wherever you were?" (Jake)

"You guys couldn't have waited?" (Kyndra)

"Wait?!" (Shawn)

"Kyndra, if two people are truly, madly, and deeply in love with each other, then there's no such thing as waiting." (me)

"Shawn, you know, you and I were once like that. We were so close to this, but we never got there." (Kyndra)

"That's in the past, it irrelevant now." (Shawn)

"You two were once like us? WHAT?! Shawn you didn't bother to tell me this before introducing her to me as basically my bodyguard?" (I almost scream)

"Janessa, maybe I should take you inside." (Jake says trying to calm me)

"No, Jake. I'm staying right here. I'm engaged to Shawn and I just realized I don't know much about the man I'm going to marry." (I say on the verge of tears, unhappy tears)
