"Jin!" Jin recognized Namjoon run towards him, breaking free from a guard's grasp. When Namjoon wrapped his arms around him, Jin snapped back. He shoved Namjoon away from him, his breath uneven.

"Jin what's wrong?" Namjoon asked, giving Jin a raised eyebrow. Jin wanted to explain. He wanted to tell Namjoon everything.

But he knew he'll die if he tried. And Namjoon might get hurt too.

"Excuse me! Who the fuck are you?!" The warden asked Namjoon who stared at him with a small glare.

"My name is Detective Kim. I'm assigned to a missing person's case involving Officer Kim and Officer Min," Namjoon explained. "more than half a year ago, they went missing, and I've been looking for them since." Namjoon pushed past the warden, taking a step near Jin who took a step back.

"Where's Yoongi?" Namjoon asked.

Jin shook his head, shrugging.

"What's keeping you from talking?" Namjoon asked, Jin looking down at himself.

Jin looked around, noticing a camera to his left, facing away from the camera.

He sighed, looking up at Namjoon.

"Bomb," Jin said in a mere whisper.

Everyone stepped back, the warden calling someone through his radio.

"Where?" Namjoon asked. Jin looked at himself. "On you? Can you take it off?"

"N-No... At least I don't think so?" Jin was about to explode. Both in a figurative and literal sense. "Jimin said that if I touch it, he'll press the button."

"Alright Jin, just... Let's go outside, okay?" Namjoon held out a hand towards Jin who nodded.

He was afraid that Namjoon would get hurt if he took another step. He wouldn't forgive himself even if he died in the process of getting blown up- which he probably will.

"But you gotta stay away from me. If they detonated this bomb, you'll get hurt," Jin's voice wavered, Namjoon furrowing his eyebrows.

"Okay Jin, Okay," Namjoon gave Jin a small smile as to comfort him. The two walked out of the building, sitting on the concrete at the parking lot.

"Bomb squad should arrive in two," the warden informed Namjoon who nodded. He stared at Jin, staring at the floor, scared out of his wits.

"Jin, you'll be fine," Namjoon, who stood almost 6 yards away from Jin, assured. "Stay calm, they'll be here soon."

Jin waited the longest two minutes of his life. And when he saw the men in special suits walking towards him, he almost wept.

Right as they deactivated the bomb, ripping it off of Jin, he felt the heavy tears flow down his cheeks. Wiping them away with his hand, Namjoon wrapped his arms around the older man, pulling him into a proper embrace which Jin returned.

"See? I told you, you'll be fine." Jin pulled away to see Namjoon crying, who wiped them away from his face. "But seriously, I imagined this would be the final time I would see you."

Jin stared at Namjoon for a moment longer before lunging forward, pressing their lips together in a soft, perfect kiss.

Jin could practically hear his heart in his ears. He panicked when Namjoon didn't kiss back, though when he tried to pull away, Namjoon pulls him back, taking a small breath before their lips were back together.

Namjoon was the first to pull away, his hand still behind Jin's neck.

"That was... Wow-" Namjoon breathed out.

"Joon, I missed you so much," Jin cried, furrowing his eyebrows as his voice cracked.

"Hey- Hey... I'm here, you're safe now. You're okay," Namjoon muttered as he placed a kiss into Jin's hair. His hand cupped Jin's cheek, wiping away the tears that flowed out with his sleeve. "Don't cry okay? I'm here..."

"Thank you so much," Jin smiled, giving Namjoon another kiss.

"Hey, Detective- okay-" Jin pulled away at the sudden voice, his face flushing.

"Jeon- Uh-" Namjoon cleared his throat. "What is it?"

Jin looked up, his jaw going slack. He found the very familiar man he'd met almost two years ago. His hair now lighter, he grew taller too.

And he's here! Right in front of Jin, hands in his pockets, wearing a rolled up white button up and a tie.

And Jimin was looking for him.

So why was he back?
