I woke up from darkness, but instead of it feeling like decades it felt like just an hour. I liked it, it gave me time to think and it felt like less time apart from Dennis.

Dennis was still curled up to my chest and was mumbling in his sleep. I think he was drooling too, it was so cute. I smiled and gently moved him away from my body.

He mumbled something in his sleep and rolled around slightly. I silently got up and walked to the kitchen. Dad and Father weren't back yet so I decided to make cereal for Dennis and me.

I put his bowl on the counter but didn't put milk in it because then it would get warm and soggy too fast which nobody ever likes. I made mine and heard a groan from the room.

Dennis was awake, and I thought he had a hangover. He came out rubbing his left arm and smiled at me. I smiled back and hugged him, he hugged back and I kissed his forehead.

"Goodmorning, how did you sleep?" He asked happily.

This confused me. "Good, how about you? You feel ok? Your arm ok?" I asked.

He tilted his head slightly before giggling. "Oh! Yeah, I slept good! And yeah I'm ok, just my arm hurts 'cause I hit it on the wall waking up. Why wouldn't I be ok?" He answered with a smile.

"You were drunk last night. And, how do you not have a hangover?!?" I asked almost yelling.

He laughed and leaned his head on my shoulder. "I have a high tolerance when it comes to hangovers."  He explained kissing my cheek.

"Teach me your ways please." I made a praying motion and we laughed together.

I kissed him and poked his nose and he started giggling. "Jeg elsker deg." I tried to speak seductively, probably didn't sound like it though.

"Tá mé i ngrá leat freisin." He answered seductively, actually sounding seductive while I had no idea how to.

I giggled and kissed him and he kissed back. We both had taught ourselves common phrases in each other's languages, so I knew what he meant and he knew what I meant.

We stopped kissing so we could breathe and Dennis giggled and hugged me closer. I started to pet his hair softly and he scratched under my chin. He giggled while I purred quietly, wow I am a cat now.

There was a knock at the door and I went to answer it. Dennis huffed at me leaving so he started to pour some milk into his cereal bowl.

I opened the door and my parents were there. Dad was holding Father's hand and he smiled. Father was holding his head with his free arm and he looked horrible.

I let them in and we all sat on the couch, Dennis got Father a water bottle for him. We started talking but kept our voices down so Father's head wouldn't hurt anymore.

After a while, they said that they had to go back home because Aengus, who kept the village in line while my parents were gone, let the village get attacked by a rival village. We wished them luck as they left.

Dennis and I decided to watch a movie, we decided on Ice Age. I got popcorn and kept throwing pieces into Dennis' mouth. I missed almost everytime but I made it sometimes.

After the movie was over I kept throwing popcorn at Dennis. After the bowl was empty we started talking about random things that pop up in our heads. I even asked him about his major, he said it was Literature.

When we ran out of things to say we just sat there silently. It was boring for me, but I didn't know if Dennis was bored too. I saw him close his eyes and decided I should do something.
