A.N. i was rereading this for no reason then i saw that Dennis had glasses and i totally forgot XD rip. so pretend hes had them the whole time and ill try to remember them XD

I quietly walked down the sidewalk leading to the start of the forest. I carried two plastic containers filled with caesar salad. I hope Shadow likes salad, if not I'll just cook him some pasta! I just hope he's happy!

I continued walking as a hummed a small tune, letting my mind wander to anything at all. Then something popped into my mind that stuck with me the rest of the walk, it was about the dream I had last night.

I smiled to myself and started to walk a bit faster, now with a slight pep in my step. Wow, this made me feel slight déjà vu. I started to search the memory cabinets of my mind to find the memory.(idk deal XD)

After I made it about halfway into the forest is saw something, familiar. It was a raven with feathers as white as snow. Then I remembered.

I was walking toward my apartment building, holding two plastic containers. (Jeebus so much plastic) One has a steak with mashed potatoes in it and the other a caesar salad. I was going to my new boyfriend's apartment so we could eat lunch together. (I already forgot his name XD rip)

I made it into the building and started walking up the stairs to the third floor. I knocked on his door softly as I pushed my glasses back up the bridge of my nose. (i do that so much XD)

Connor slowly opened the door a crack, eyes widening as he saw me. He opened the door and quickly pulled me into a right hug. I instantly hugged him back with one arm, the other holding our food.

As I walked in he closed the door, and I saw there was a bat next to the door on the ground. "I've missed you so much, mo grá(my love)"!He smiled brightly.

"Connor! Chaill mé tú chomh maith, mo iompróidh mór! (Connor! I've missed you as well, my big bear!)" I beamed as I gave him a peck on the cheek.

After that, I don't remember anything else except for seeing a white raven with feathers as white and pure as fresh snow; watching us through his window the whole time. It just stared at me, and it frightened me a bit but I didn't want to say anything so I kept quiet.

I still can't believe how idiotic and naive I was to think he actually loved me back. I'm just so glad I found my Shadow(lmao I accidentally put Dennis). He's so kind, loving, and just an angel in general. I just wish I could be with him forever and ever.

I sighed quietly and continued to walk back to the house. My mind wandered off to school and such as I walked, well until I got a text from Shadow.

Shadow: im so jealous of u

Dennis: why/

Dennis:?*

Shadow: ur partner is so hotter than mine

Dennis: but we r dating

Dennis: HEY

Shadow: LMAO JK IM SORRY XD

I closed my phone and placed it in my pocket. I continued to follow the path that was engraved into my memory, smiling happily to myself and trying not to giggle like an idiot from the texts.

I made it to the cabin almost skipping, I was like a child who was told that when they get home they would be greeted with their new puppy. Well, Shadow was my snuggly wuggly golden retriever.

Just before I was about to open the door I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I turned over to my right with my hand settled gently onto the doorknob, ready to run in and hide if needed. Then I saw it.

That bird.

It was on a branch gazing at me with that same darn look. I was so mad at it. I bet it thinks that Shadow is going to use me like Connor did, mocking me as it knows. It better not know.

Before I could stomp into the house it nodded. I was deeply confused as I watched it fly away, off into the trees deeper into the woods. I let out an inaudible sigh and slowly walked into the house, only to be met with a tight hug and kisses attacking my face.

I giggled as I hugged Shadow back happily as he continued to pamper my face with kisses. He finally stopped and our eyes both met each other's, both grinning like idiots. I giggled a bit more before closing the space between our lips. The kiss was soft and warm from his sweet and gentle lips.

God, I love this man.
