Light. At first, it's all I see, but then I start to hear voices.
The first voice is deep and commanding "Daughter, why must you break your vows as a maiden and have a child with that puny mortal?"
The next voice is soft and sweet like the moonlight. "If you are so unhappy with my choices, why did you bless the child at birth?"
The first voice replied "The rest of the council blessed her so of course I had to! I could not look weak in front of the rest of the council!"
"Just because you are king doesn't mean you get to control everything around you! I may have broken my vow but it is my choice to do so! Not yours!" The second voice snapped.
It was quiet for a moment then the deeper voice said "Fine. I may not control your choices but I still control the world below. Mark my words the child will be in grave danger."
I was confused. Who were these people? What was the world below? What were they even talking about? All these questions flooded my mind as everything faded to black.
