After the show, the applause was even louder than usual as we took our equipment and went to the bus.

"I think we just gave the people what they want," Patty laughed.

"I think you gave the people what YOU want," I smirked.

"Maybe."

"Well, good thing it was what I wanted," I smiled.

"Good." He brushed his hair out of his face, putting his arm on my shoulder and kissing my cheek.

"Do we need to get you guys a separate bus?" Ali asked, rolling his eyes.

"Oh, calm down," Patty responded.

We walked back to the lounge and laid down, Patty wrapping his arms around me and sitting me on his lap.

"What you did out there was the sweetest thing anyone's ever done for me," I laughed.

"Wow, I'm in first place?" He joked.

"Of course," I responded, leaning up and meeting my lips with his for a few short seconds.

The following week, the two of us were hanging out in the lounge after a show, once again.

"I'm such a lucky guy," Patty smiled before being cut off by my phone ringing.

I sat up, "Sorry, I should probably get that," I frowned.

I started to panic as I saw who was calling me.

Incoming call
Marcus💔

I almost started crying before Patty saw me and took me in his arms. "I'm here, it'll be okay."

I answered the call after taking a deep breath. "What do you want?"

"I'm so sorry, I should have never done that to you," he started.

"You're right. You shouldn't have done that."

"Would I ever be able to make it up to you? I really want you back," he pleaded.

"No way," I replied, confidently. "I've been much happier without you and I don't want another shitty relationship with you."

I may have sounded really calm and collected, but I'm never this bold and I started to shake hearing the conversation between us.

However, Patty must have picked up on my fear as he gently kissed the top of my head and started playing with my hair.

"Oh come on," he replied. "I apologize to you and all I get is you being a bitch to me? Wow, I know I was wrong but wouldn't a simple no be good enough? Don't act like you"

Patty took the phone from my hands before he could finish. "What the fuck are you talking about?" He said in an angry, deep voice.

"Excuse me, who do you think you are? Give the phone back to Brandy," he demanded.

"No, you should see what you're doing to her right now. You better leave her alone."

"Yeah? And who are you to tell me how I can talk to MY ex-girlfriend?" He snapped.

"Her boyfriend. Now hang up and never call her again."

"Whatever. She'll miss me later, just give it time."

"Hang. Up," Patty growled.

Marcus hung up without saying a word.

I started shaking even more, shedding a few tears this time, too.

"I'm so sorry, Brandy," he panicked. "I shouldn't have done that I understand if you're mad."
