I sat with my knees pulled close to my chest and my journal out in front of me as I leaned against the wall on my bedroom. I stared out my window and watched the only green patch of life on Earth left. Bellamy nicknamed it the Garden of Eden after the garden God had created for Adam. He told me about it one night.

I had just woken up from a nightmare screaming, something I hadn't done in a while, and Bell was the first one in the room. He had grabbed my arms because apparently, I tried to hit him in my sleep and shook me awake. I jumped up and looked around the room, seeing that everyone had come to see what had happened, even Murphy seemed worried for a moment.

He told everyone I was okay and that they could leave and they did, all but Bellamy, he stayed with me and made sure I was okay. In an attempt to calm me down, he pointed out my window to the green patch we had seen earlier that day and told me how it reminded him of the Garden of Eden.

That was about five years ago. Today that garden is still alive and thriving. Hopefully, when we get down there we can find some better food then Monty's algae creations. Don't get me wrong, I love Monty but that boy can not cook to save his life. One time he even put Murphy in a coma for about two weeks.

I laughed quietly to myself thinking of the memories, a sudden knock on my door made me stop though. "Come in," I called from my seat by the window.

It was Bellamy who walked in. I gave him a smile and closed my journal as I sat up and crossed my legs. "Hey." He smiled closing the door behind him.

"Hey."

He made his way across my room and sat in front of me. "How are you?" He asked.

I gave a shrug. "The same as I was yesterday and the day before that and the day before that." I babbled.

"Alright smart ass." He lightly punched my shoulder. We chuckled together and sat in a comfortable silence. This wasn't new to us, we had gotten a lot more comfortable with each other's presence over the years.

"How's you and Echo?" I asked. Bellamy's cheeks instantly grew a light shade of red and a smile ran across his smug face.

"We're...we're good. Yeah, we're good."

I chuckled at his childlike behavior. "I'm glad. I haven't seen you this happy in years. It's...it's a nice change."

"It is, isn't it?" His cheeks finally went back to their normal shade. "So anyway, I heard it was someone's birthday," Bellamy said, wiggling his eyebrows.

I leaned my head back and groaned. "No, Bell you do this every year." He knew I didn't like celebrating my birthday but every single year he has done something for me and others on the days we were borns. All except for Murphy who decided to not be apart of our group anymore and Emori and Echo who actually don't know exactly when they were born but we gave them made up birthdays just so we could celebrate them. It just gave us something to do to pass the time.

"Ari you have to go this year. Monty made a very special Algae just for you and plus it's not every day you turn 20 years old. You're no longer a teenager, I can't call you Kid anymore. Even though you're still pretty short and look like a child."

I gave him an offended look as I picked up the pillow I was using for my back, leaning against the wall and threw it at him. He caught it and laughed. "Alright, I'm sorry. At least let me give you your birthday present."

I looked at him shocked. "How is it that every year you somehow have gifts to give each of us?" I asked.

"It's a little something I like to call magic." I raised a brow in confusion. "Okay, so when we first got to the ring I looked around the whole ship and found cool little things and keep them hidden so I could give them to you guys." I smiled as he pulled something out of his pocket. "Close your eyes." I sighed and did as told. "Now hold out your hands." As  I did so I felt the coldness of a metal chain being placed in the palm of my hand. "Now open."

I looked down at my hands and saw a small necklace with a butterfly charm. I looked at it in shock. "How did you find this?" I asked, taking a closer look.

He gave me a shrug. "I remember for your 13th birthday I gave you one just like it and you lost it with Mount Weather so I thought you might like a new one." I gripped the necklace in my hand and wrapped my arms around Bells neck.

"Thank you so much, I love it."

He held me tight before the two of us pulled away. "Here, let me." I gave him the necklace and turned around to allow him to clasp the chain. "Now its time for your party." He smirked evilly.

"Ugh fine." He jumped up from his seat out of excitement. I shook my head and followed him out of my room and into our common room where we all meet up and spend most of our time.

I walked into the room and everyone was around with wide smiles. They all yelled 'Happy Birthday' as soon as they saw me. I smiled and thanked them all.

"Fear not for we have brought gifts," Raven said in a deep voice. I chuckled as Harper grabbed my arm and brought me over to the couch.

"Here open mind first." She said with a wide smile. I grabbed the present that was wrapped in a shirt from Harper and began to unravel it. Inside was a hardcover journal with a beautiful design on the front. "It' from Monty and I."

"Oh my god." I looked at the pages noticing a few of them had been filled but I didn't mind. On the inside of the front cover, however, there was a name written in charcoal.

'This Journal Belongs to Glass'

"We noticed you had been getting to the end of your journal so we thought you might like a new one." Monty smiled, standing behind the couch looking over my shoulder.

I smiled and turned to them. "I love it thank you."

"Alright, mine next!" Raven said with a huge smile. She picked up a small rubber ball and threw it at me.

I was able to catch it before it hit me. I looked down at the small red spherical item. "Are you sure Raven?" I asked. "This is your lucky thinking ball." She nodded and I continued to open the small little items from each of my friends.

After presents were over Monty had set the table and the algae was done. We all sat around and took a deep breath before eating the green goop that was placed in blows in front of us. I was the first to taste it.

It wasn't too bad at first but after a while, the aftertaste was almost unbearable. I tried not to gag knowing Monty put a lot of hard work into this but it was truly hard to do so.

"It's fine guys," Monty began, "I know it tastes bad. You may through up." We all gather around the trash can and proceeded to spit out the green liquid.

That night, I went to bed with a smile on my face. I'm actually glad we're not on the ground anymore. I love being in space. It's just so peaceful and nice and I love everyone here, even Muphy kinda grew on me. However, when I went to bed, I had no idea what was going to be waiting for us the next morning.

AN
Okay. Season finale...I cried. A lot. Don't judge me! I'm an emotional person. Anyone else cries? How about Jordan though?! I'm so upset but so happy at the same time. Monty was my favorite character. ALL HE WANTED WAS PEACE!!

Anyways. This chapter was really only written so you could see how close Ari has gotten with the rest of the gang. Also, I put a little bit a reference from the book series. In the book (Which I have read) There is a character named Glass who escaped the dropship and lived on the Ark while the 100 went to earth. I just thought it would be a fun little easter egg for fans of the book. So I will continue to write and stuff because I have been really motivated (mainly because I want to show you Ari and Caleb's reunion)

Have a good day/night
