"Boys and girls meet Eligius Four," Raven announced to us as she directed the small pod through space. She took a closer look as to what was written on the side. "'Powering a better tomorrow'. Must be a mining ship." She thought out loud.

"Mining in space?" I asked from my seat.

Monty looked over at me and nodded. "I've heard stories. Missions sent to mine asteroids or search for habitable planets, but that was a hundred years ago."

"Well, they got back somehow. Which means they must have fuel," Bell said hopefully.

We all looked at the ship in awe at how big it was. "Now, there's a ship with a story to tell," I muttered to myself.

Raven began to pilot the pod into one of the docks. "It looks like one of the engines was destroyed. At least the hap is still rotating." She said before realizing we didn't know what that means. "That rotation means they'll have gravity."

"There's the docking bay," Emori pointed out from her seat beside Raven.

I began to get worried about the people on the ship and why they were in space. "Uh, I hate to bring this up now, but what if they're still inside?" I asked.

Echo shook her head. "We've been through this; if they were still inside and saw a foreign ship trying to board them, they would shoot us out of the sky."

"Okay, commencing operation uninvited guests." Raven smiled. "Firing thruster in 3, 2, 1." The pod shook violently as the thrusters burst to life, flinging us in the direction of the docking bay. "Emori, soon as I line us up with the hap, it's all yours."

Once we were lined up Emori began the docking sequence. "We are so screwed," Murphy sighed.

Emori rolled her eyes. "Shut up, John."

Something suddenly went wrong and Raven and Emori were talking fast, trying to figure out what the problem was before we crashed. The two started yelling orders and the pod was shaking way more than before. The sudden shakiness brought back memories of our first journey to the ground on the dropship. I remember how scared I was and how I thought I was going to die.

I held on tightly to my seatbelt and squeezed my eyes shut waiting for it to be all over.

After a few horrifying seconds of not knowing if we were going to survive or not we finally docked and we could all catch our breath.

"Okay," Bellamy took off his helmet, "Let's go find that fuel." He opened the catch and we all climbed out one by one.

In the ship, there was a muffled alarm blaring as if something had gone wrong in the ship. Eligius Four was nothing like the Ark. It was clear that it was a mining ship and wasn't meant for comfort.

"Come on. We got to move fast," Bell said leading the way. He opened a sliding door and the sound of the alarm that was muffled before grew much louder.

"Well that's just annoying," Murphy voiced.

I made my way past the others and right next to Bellamy. "If someone was here they'd shut it off, right?"

My question was shrugged off like many times before as we began to make our way through the ship. Harper and Emori, stayed behind to check the pod and see if there was any damage done to it.

"This place is like a maze," Bellamy said, taking the words right out of my mouth as we turned a corner. He shined his flashlight put at a sign that read, 'No Inmates Past This Point'.

"Inmates?" I asked.

"Prison Labor. The mining missions were dangerous. They sent people they thought were disposable," Monty explained
