Me and Jett just look at her blankly for a long time. The room is filled with silence, despite the fact about what Fiona just announced. Then the chaos starts.

"WUHHHH!?!?" Jett screeches at the top of his lungs. He flails his arms and legs around, resembling a panicked monkey whose banana just got stolen(never EVER do that trust me).

"WHATJOKEAREYOUPLAYINGONUSFIONA" I'm jumbling all of my words into one. Me and Jett are running around the room, freaking out. Jett looks like the same way he did when I stole his desert, screaming at the top of his lungs with a wild look in his eyes and sprinting faster than a human Olympic runner.

"COME DOWN" Fiona yells and we obediently stop in our tracks. Unfortunately for Jett, he was still airborne from when he jumped off the sofa. He falls down and whimpers a small "ouchy."

"I know this is a lot to take in, but this is too much!" Fiona cries. "Mel, you look like someone just woke you up after you run a marathon, and Jett, you look like someone stole your food!" Fiona yells. Yes, our priories are clearly fine.

"Besides, remember what I said about others hearing information they dont need to know, so don't act like that again." Fiona commands.

Me and Jett slowly nod our heads and take a seat, but we still looked just as terrified and surprised, like we saw a real ghost.

"But Fiona, how can we have blue eyes? Clearly our eyes are brown." I point to our eyes while I speak.

"Well, Mom and Dad did not want any bad attention to be drawn to you two. After all, they wanted to make sure this secret got never leaked out that they didn't even tell you two. I only know because I was there and even if I was only a couple of years old, apparently I'd keep asking about and to make sure I don't tell anyone, Mom and Dad told me the reason and made sure I don't mention it to anyone." Fiona explains.

I guess this was a really big deal and Mom and Dad really feared that someone bad would find out and we'd be in danger.

"So how did you guys hide the true fact of our eyes?" Jett asked. I agreed with Jett, it's not like you can use those things that humans use, something called contacts I think.

"We all went to an oracle. We explained what the problem was and why we needed this to happen and the oracle understood. You two were in the sacred garden for about a month, as the oracle slowly each day used powers to turn your eyes to the color they are now. However...the oracle said that one day if someone were to be able to find out the truth, then right away the eyes will flash right back to the color they once were." Fiona tells us with a grim look on her face.

"That would be bad!" Jett cried, stating the obvious like he always does.

"Yes it would. But no one is going to find out, and we will keep it that way." Fiona gently ruffles Jett's hair and uses her tail to clean up my face.

"Now you two tell Mom and Dad that you know, so the whole cliche 'I kept the secret and it backfired on me' thing doesn't happen. And hopefully they don't kill me." Fiona says with a nervous look on her.

                                                                         -EVENING-

"YOU TOLD THEM?!" Mom shrieks. Yup, me and Jett told our parents the news, and both acted quite differently. Dad had simply nodded his head and said that we deserved to know and that we were growing up. However, Mom acted, a bit differently.

"Now calm down honey I'm sure there is a perfectly good re-" Dad is cut of by when Mom bangs the table, with steam coming out of her ears. Literally.

"I'LL GIVE YOU A GOOD REASON!" Mom cries and before we know it, dinner erupts into chaos.

Mom is chasing Dad around while swinging a lamp around, Dad is crying out  "I'M SORRY" over and over again, running for his life. Fiona is chasing after the two, trying to calm Mom down, Jett pulls a family size popcorn bag and starts stuffing his face away. And I'm sitting in the middle, wondering why I'm here and contemplating the meaning of life. A normal Friday night.

After everyone settled down, with Dad the only one with bruises and a lump on his forehead, I announce that I'm gonna go and Jett follows me upstairs into our room.

"This is all still so crazy." Jett whispers.

"I know what you mean, you don;t find out everyday that your eyes have been a lie and that you are Nine Tailed." I say.

"Well, I guess lets just go to sleep then?" Jett asks me.

We stand there for about a minute and than look at each other with the same expression.

"NAH!"

Then me and Jett spend the rest of our time talking and playing and reading. Of course until Mom comes up and says that if we don't go to sleep we will have to answer to her. Me and Jett dive for our beds and Mom hugs us before saying "Good Night you two" and closing the lights.

Of course, after five minutes me and Jett turn on our little night lights. We stuff our beds with pillows under the covers and slowly creep across the room, to the back of a large space poster. We smile at each other and flip it around, revealing a small door. We step inside and put the poster down and close the door. We walk about a minute and two slides come in view and we race sliding down before coming to a vent and opening it up. We escape into the night.

What, did you actually believe that for 12 years, we have been only going out twice a week?
