We charged right into battle.

I knocked myself into the feline, catching her off guard. She right away takes out her claws and starts to swipe, barely missing me. I leap over her and dodge her attacks.

From the corner of my eye I see Mom and Dad coming towards us. I take a glance at Jett, who fights the wolf, and then at the pit where my dear sister lies. Remembering the sight I saw before, I snarl and kick the cat.

Mom comes to my aide, as Dad goes to help Jett with the wolf.

"So we're playing unfair now, aye?" The cat snarls.

"So you say a you and your friend ambushing my sister was fair?!" I scream. She smirks, before jumping in the air and tackling me. Mom pushes her off, before sending some hits at her.

"Get Fiona." My mom commands as she fights without stopping. I hesitate a second, before nodding my head and rushing over to the pit.

Inside lies my sister, and being closer I see even more of the damage done. I bite my lip before yelling for Jett.

In a flash he appears next to me. I command him to slowly lower me into the pit and wrap my arms around Fiona, trying to not touch any badly injured areas though she is covered with them.

Once we manage to pull her up, we support her on either ends and start back to home. But before we could, the two foes appear before us. Mom and Dad yell as they realize that we are with Fiona and unable to fight.

"Take this, pests!"

He lunges forward to bite one of us, and I shield Jett and Fiona from him, receiving the wound. Jett yells at them, but they just laugh it off.

"I have to admit, you foxes are pretty dumb. Now this is a waste of time, so we'll be heading off." The wolf smirks and turns to go.

"Don't think we won't meet." The cat glares into my eyes, before turning back to go with her partner. The thought of them returning sends a shiver down my back, but I stand strong and stare at their backs.

The blood oozing from my wound is something I can't even feel; My eyes only are on Fiona, as my heart grieves for what happened to her. Wondering why she got this. Wondering why she even came here.

Wondering if its my fault.

"We need to get her back home, with medicine and other treatments right away." Dad warns, as he and Mom take Fiona from us.

"You two go get some extra medicine, we need lots. Also get some for your wound too Mel." Mom commands. Too tired to protest, I nod my head.

Jett and I lock eyes for a moment, before following a different path to get us to the medical shopping area.

We all go our separate ways, but with one scary thought in our mind: Will she make it?
