"The Christmas cookies are a little too sugary, this strand of Christmas lights is completely dead, and the wrapping on one of the presents got ripped."

"Stiles, those are all little things. Don't worry, it's all okay. No one's going to notice and Laura has a spare strand in her car."

"Why does she have a spare in her car?"

"IT'S FOR SCIENCE!"

"No it's not, you just appreciate the aesthetic as Cora says."

"Either way, I'm glad she has a spare. I'm just so nervous for some reason. I'm meeting your entire family!"

"Everything is going to be okay. I promise, honeyduke. I met your family and I was internally freaking out about it too."

"Yep, I'm putting the baked goods in the car right now. Dad, no. That can't go there."

"Everything good?"

"Yeah, my dad just tried putting presents near the pie. I'm not risking it getting crushed. Also, I have your peppermint brownies."

"Yes! I'm so excited to try those. You have to give me one immediately."
